Old Tor ah Given Israeli Museum JERUSAEM, ( F T A ) - A Torah scroll, written 500 years ago in Morocco, was presented by Premier Yitzhak Rabin to the Israel Museum. The scroll was a gift given by an anonymous donor. It originated hi the village of Debdou in eastern Morocco and Is now the museum's oldest Torah valued at more than IL 100,000. No details were given on the identity of the Moroccan donor, or the circumstances In which Rabin received the scroll.

Steven P. Morrison, national director of the B'nai B'rith Leadership Cabinet, will be the featured speaker at the June 11 dinner during the B'nai B'rith Regional meeting. He will' also present a leadership program m the morning of June 12 and a summary at the luncheon that day. Morrison was one of the hostages at the recent takeover of the B'nai B'rith H e a d q u a r t e r s in Washington, D.C. The dinner on June 11 will take place at the Sheraton Motor Inn at 7:30 p.m. The program on Sunday, June 12, will open with breakfast at 9 a.m. in the JCC.

Jewish Youth Rescues Saudi Arabian Girl

A former Camp Newman swimming instructor rescued a Saudi Arabian woman from

a lake in Austin, Texas, minutes before her husband drowned.

YORK — Mrs. Max Zera of Fort Lee, N.J., embroidered the Jewish Wedding piece on display during the 20th biennial benefit exhibit of needlework and embroidery at New York's Lighthouse, The Association for the Blind. The show's host, Amateur Needlework of Today Inc., is the oldest society ol its kind In the U.S., and was organized "to advance the quality of amateur needlework in this country."
