Among special ceremonies at the Israel Bond Hanukkah Celebration Festival on Sunday, December 23, at 8 p.m. in the Hotel Sheraton-Fontenelle's Grand Ballroom, will be the presentation of special awards from the national office of the Development Corporation for Israel, Norman Lipman, Executive Director of tlie Omaha Bond Office said. Inscribed Scrolls In addition, to special honors given 19C2's General Chairman, John Rosenblatt, and the Women's Division Chairman, Mrs. Joseph Guss, specially inscribed scrolls of honor will be presented to all past general chairmen and women's division chairmen since the inception of the Bond program. These include: David Blacker, Robert M. Felnberg, pr. Abe Greenberg, William Grodinsky, Sam L. Katzman, Jack W. Marer, Joe M. Rice, Sam Rice, Morton Richards and Mmes. Drive Approaching Successful Goal Cash sales and 19G2 commitments to purchase Israel Bonds reached a total of $187,550 by Friday,'December 7th, according to John Rosenblatt, I s r a e l Bond Drive General Chairman. Of this amount, however, $8G,800 still remains to be collected, Mr. Rosenblatt soid. "Since Israel Bond achievements are measured only in cash figures," Mr. Rosenblatt said, "we know we muat reach a much higher figure than our $200,000 goal in order to achieve a successful result. Housing, industrial and agricultural needs in Israel can only be met with dollars, not promises."
PAKTY SERVICE The Jewish Community Center party service for children averages better than five parties each week, Harry Sidman, Center Committee Chairman reported. The parly service provides leadership in planning parties, has personnel to run games and special activities, while offering sound movies with projectionist. The service now has magicians and centriloquists and also offers 8 and 16 mm filmed movie cartoons for home use. A small service charge is made for the party service. Parents may arrange for its use by calling the Center's Activities Department, 342-1366. Sidman cteted that the use of iilmed cartoons at a very miniitium rate, a new service should prove another popular feature of the program. HANUKKAH BOOKLET STILL AVAILABLE

Hadassah To Choose "Ouecn of Hanukkah" The "Queen of Hanukkah" will be selected at Hadassah's annual board meeting, Monday, December 17 at 12:30 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center. The entire Hadassah membership Is invited to this Hanukkah Luncheon party which will be held in place of the regular monthly meeting. An added attraction will be a film, "Shall These Bones Live," written by and starring Theodore Bikel of stage, movie and television fame. Chairmen for the Hanukkah event are Mrs. Max Lashinsky, social; Mmcs. Harold Kort and Isaac Dloogoff, arrangements; Mrs. Harry Bassman, assisted by Mmes. Abe Macus and Abe Krantz, luncheon; Mmes. Jerusalem (JTA)—The Cabinet approved a draft bill to be submitted to the Knesset, Israel's Parliament, comprising new regulations governing the election of Israel's President. Under the new bill, any Israeli citizen and resident over 40 years of age, would be eligible as a candidate for election to the Presidency by the Knesset provided his candidacy was endorsed by 20 members of the Knesset. A proposal to limit the President's tenure to two five year terms was rejected by the Cabinet.
