In April 2025, CARMA Center to Combat Antisemitism and Reinforce Multicultural Acceptance brought the Hate Ends Now Holocaust Cattle Car exhibit to area schools.
Students experienced a 360-degree immersive presentation inside a replica WWII cattle car, such as were used to transport Jewish people and other groups to concentration camps. they also interacted with original artifacts from the period.
The opportunity raised awareness about the Holocaust, antisemitism, and all forms of identity-based hate, and encouraged students to consider how each of us can work toward ending such hate and make the world a better place.
The students’ personal reflections, presented in this publication, are eye-opening, poignant, and uplifting.
