Advocated and facilitated $8 million in security grants to make facilities and people who use them safer.
Guided Evelyn*, following her husband’s death and Hurricane Ida’s destruction of her home, to disaster aid and the Jewish communal safety net. Collected and distributed thousands of donated food items, toiletries, gift cards and toys to people in need through the Gratitude Project. Secured matching funds for trauma-informed care for Holocaust survivors.

Steered a teacher’s bequest for youth to PJ Library programs connecting children to Jewish learning, inspiration and community. Fostered teen advocacy and social action aimed at climate change and the environment through J-SERVE. Facilitated a generous donation for camp grants from a 13-year old grant recipient who wanted to pay it forward – nurturing Jewish values and participation among young people.
