...that every small donation to the United Jewish Appeal campaign matters. The UJA keeps our community going at Talmud Torah. We know that somewhere between 30 to 35% of our families receive some element of bursary support from Federation. That’s obviously critical for our success.

...that the Federation supports a multitude of programs within our Jewish community that are important to me and my family. Camp BB, JCC Maccabi Games and BBYO are enriched by the dollars that Federation raises through the United Jewish Appeal campaign. My family also deeply values supporting programs for the less fortunate or isolated in our community, such as the Jewish Seniors Citizens’ Centre and Jewish Family Services. These programs all count on funds raised through UJA.

...in Jewish Federation, which my family has supported, in its many iterations, for nearly 100 years. Jewish Federation of Edmonton aims to raise $1.3 million in fiscal year 2023 through fundraising, grants and donations at an estimated cost of $79,000. These funds will support educational and cultural programs; local Jewish agencies; and sister agencies in Israel. We are incorporated as a society in Alberta.
