The silver lining of working remotely the past 18 months is that our services are now more accessible to job seekers than ever before. Our Microsoft Training Courses, which originally launched in 2016 and served an average of 8 people per 6-week class, pivoted to an online version. We are now able to reach clients across Dallas and the U.S. with free, live-instruction, multi-day courses and our clients walk away knowing how to use

Food Pantry & Emergency Assistance MAKING HUNGER RELIEF POSSIBLE During the pandemic, we grew from providing food to 180 families each week to an average of 750 families each week from all across the metroplex. Even before this, it was clear we needed to expand our on-site Food Pantry so we could sustain an annual increase in clients turning to us for help. The drive-thru food distribution offered a unique opportunity to do construction without service disruption. With the help of generous donors like you, we can return to our client-choice shopping model in our new 3,000 square foot pantry this October. While we don’t expect to see the same record numbers of people in crisis, we now have capacity and resources to formally expand our service delivery area to three more zip codes, all of which were attending our drive-thru distribution. It takes a village to make this all possible, so thank you for putting your trust in us to do more for the greater Dallas area. We are also expanding our Kosher Corner which will be coupled with a new Jewish community outreach initiative to help community members overcome barriers to accessing support for their basic needs - all in a confidential manner.
