Archive (at Avery library/Columbia U) includes more than 23000 drawings, hundreds of thousands of pages of texts, and hundreds of thousands of photos, along with audiovisual and other materials. Archival models are held by the Museum of Modern Art. Foundation retains all IP rights.

Creates Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation in 1940. The Foundation stewards Wright’s legacy, including preservation of Taliesin (WI) and Taliesin West (AZ), Wright’s two homes/studios.

Commences licensing program in 1955: Heritage Henredon, F. Schumacher, Martin Senour paints.
