CONCEPT 2:
LA DOLCE VITA This concept is a celebration of the Italian heritage both of Valdo and of Italian works of art. A Botticelli shell from “The Birth of Venus“ sits at the bottom of the bottle to represent the historical side of the Italian culture. Golden Baroque swirls and a chain, inspired by Versace designs grow out of the shell, represent current culture and fashion. A rose peeks in from the top to represent New York (the official flower of New York), and a Lily peeks out next to the shell (the official flower of Italy). Poppies, a secondary flower of Italy, also frame the Valdo name. The art surrounding the logo include exotic and endangered animals to bring awareness to the idea of conservation and protecting species. Some of these animals include a jaguar, flamingo, peacock, a dragonfly, which work together to create a fantastical, whimsical world with a focus on endangered species and animal conservation. At the center of Ceci New York’s philanthropic efforts is their partnership with The Birthday Party Project, a non-profit dedicated to bringing joy to homeless children through the magic of celebrating their birthdays.
