On August 19 and 20, special Blessing Meeting was held for two days in the McVety auditorium, Canada Christian College in Toronto, Canada. Samuel Dhinakaran, Sharon Dhinakaran and Stella Ramold conducted the worship service in a wonderful way. The entire crowd felt the mighty move of the Holy Spirit. During the worship, many received the touch of God. Several people received deliverance. Dr. Paul Dhinakaran and Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran shared God’s message and offered prayers. The Dhinakarans also prayed individually for those who wanted personal prayers. Many, who received blessing from God through the Jesus Calls ministry shared their testimonies and glorified God.

Gift of a child after 8 years We are married since 8 years. Since we did not have a child, we took many efforts but it was difficult to conceive. Many days I had cried that the Lord has abandoned me. Having lost my faith and patience, I sent prayer requests by email to both Dr. Paul Dhinakaran and Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran. The verse quoted by dear brother, “Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19) rekindled my faith. The prayer warriors in the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower in Canada also prayed for us. ur God reveals Himself in dif ferent names and in different ways. The way He calls Himself reveals His nature or character. When we believe that character we will experience that character in our lives. When He calls Himself 'merciful', that would mean that He wants us to know and believe that He is merciful and we can therefore expect Him to be merciful on us and grant us His blessings inspite of our imperfections and shortcomings. In the same way, through this month's message, the Lord is pleased to reveal Himself as 'God, the Provider'. "At the same time," says the Lord, "I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people." (Jeremiah 31:1) If you are reading this message then you can be sure that this month the Lord is going to mani-

fest His goodness in your family. How is He going to manifest Himself in your family? He is going to manifest as 'The Lord who provides for your home'. In 2 Corinthians 6:18 also God says: "I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters," I love the way God addresses His children as, "My People." I am able to hear Him say , "Yes, You are my son; you are my daughter". Would you confess in your heart, "I belong to the one who says that I am His son; His daughter". Once you say this then He will manifest Himself as a Father and prove that you are His son or His daughter. Once He manifests Himself as a Father, He will give you much more exceedingly than what you ask or wish (Eph. 3:20). Yes! That's the way God the Father gives. That is why He says, "Ask anything in My name, and I will do it" (John 14:14). How is He so sure that He will give anything that we ask and do whatever we ask? On what basis does He give this promise? He says this so surely because He has paid for it. He has shed all His blood as an atonement to all our sins and has opened the way for God's blessings to be poured upon us as much as we ask. He paid that price through His blood so that we can have anything through Jesus Christ. Yes! My friend, it is upon the same basis that I am declaring to you today that He will build your home; He will provide everything for you and your family (Ps. 127:1; 68:6; 138:8). Just believe that He loves you. The problems that you have gone through may be telling you that God doesn't love you anymore and there is no hope in Him for you but remember Jesus said,

"In this world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheer; I have conquered the world (John 16:33). I am with you". Friend! Let me drive a truth deep into your heart. The truth is that there is no loss for a child of God because it is always a hundred times more blessings for the loses they have incurred and for the faith they put in the Lord in the midst of that losses. In Matthew 19:29,30 , Jesus says, " If you have forsaken anything for My sake, for My name sake you will have hundred times more blessing in this world". Friend! Tribulations cannot destroy a child of God, rather it will make you trust God more and more, saying, " Father ! I can't do it myself Lord, now its only you who runs my life". God expects us to come to that situation where He says, "I will do everything for you, I will build your home. I will provide for your family". Otherwise we will say, " I have studied so much. I have so much experience, I have so much knowledge. I have all my relatives in America so I have my friends, everyone will help me". No! My friend! God will bring you to the situation where nobody will be able to help you. That's why He says, "I will show you that I am in authority". He is a jealous God. He alone wants to take all the glory. That's why He brings you to the place where He will help you with His power and raise you to much greater heights to which no man can take you - to which you yourself cannot rise up. That is your future. Today you may have loses; today you may be

asking the question, "Why? But we have come to tell Him, "Daddy! We trust you. You are my Father and so let Your will be done". When you say this today He will lift you up higher and higher and put you in the place which He has planned for you. When God restores, it will be hundred times more than what you have lost. As God our Father, takes the responsibility to provide for us, how does He do it? In what measure does He do it? The Bible answers these questions: "My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19) He has suffered and paid the cost of delivering you from your problems, loses, pains or questions. And that is why He says, " I am ready to give you everything and I will make receive you one blessing after another". How to receive this one blessing after another through Jesus Christ. The Bible says, "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." (2 Corinthians 3:18) By the Spirit we are transformed from glory to glory into that glorious image. In one translation it talks about the image of Jesus Christ - God's son. In another translation it talks about the image of the Holy Spirit. And the Bible says in 2 Cor. 3:17, "the Lord is that Spirit". So that settles that- the image of Jesus Christ. by filling us with the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit comes into us, we are transformed from glory to glory, into the image of Jesus Christ. When we are transformed into the image of Jesus Christ one blessing after another follows automatically. That is the secret - it is not just calling on the name of Jesus, but being transformed into the image of Jesus Christ. That brings glory upon glory, the glorious riches which are in Christ Jesus, which are through Christ Jesus. Then all your needs will be supplied. The Holy Spirit is ready to begin this good work in your life. Jesus said in John 14:18, "I will not leave you orphans, for a little while you will not see me... " But in John 16:19, He says, "You will see me again. And when you see me again and your sorrow will be turned into joy." In the same way, God will bless you and soon again He will send another blessing and then another blessing . Yes! You will have one blessing after another. He says, I am ready to come into your heart. Open your mouth wide and I will fill it. Today the Lord is ready to fill you with His mighty Holy Spirit. Why do you want God to be outside when He has promised to come into you and transform you into the image Of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit has the fullness of Jesus Christ in Him. And as He comes in, everything for which Jesus suffered and paid atonement comes into you. And one blessing after another will follow you. All things will be according to the plan of God. When the Holy Spirit came into me on 20.11.1980, the one thing He said was, " Paul, till now you had many friends, but from

today I will be your only friend". That's how He has led me. I have nothing lacking in my life. I just talk with Him and He replies me. I just ask Him saying, "what should I tell your people who come to listen to you? It may be 20 people; it may be one person. It may be the leader of a country; it may be the hundreds of thousands of people in the public meeting, for every one Jesus would tell me what to tell them. And Jesus would tell me through the Holy Spirit the names of the people and the problems of the people. And as

You may not have money; you may not have a job or a solution. But Jesus is there, right into your heart with a solution and it is the Holy Spirit who is in you, who will translate that solution from Jesus to you. the Holy Spirit would empower me with the love of Christ to mention the names of people and their problems - even though there may be three, five hundred thousands of people, that person whom I called by name, would be there and would testify for God's glory. And every one will know how much Jesus loves them. Yes, you can be the channel of blessing. He will become your friend today. What a friend we have in Jesus! When Jesus was on this earth, He went to several families and provided for them.

SIMON'S HOUSE : In Matthew 17:24-27 - He was sitting in the house of Simon Peter. Simon Peter was at the Tax Collectors place being questioned by the tax collectors. "Doesn't your master pay taxes?". And he was worried because he did not have money. And he came home and found Jesus Christ sitting in his house waiting for him with a solution to his problem. Yes, Jesus is always in your home, as he lives in your heart, and He has the solution. You may not have money; you may not have a job or a solution. But Jesus is there , right into your heart with a solution and it is the Holy Spirit who is in you, who will translate that solution from Jesus to you. He is the one who connects you with Jesus; connects you with the God who supplies all your needs and will show you the way of escape(1 Cor. 10:13). When tribulation comes to you, God will show you the way of escape to overcome it. When the Holy Spirit fills a person, He sends that person to the right place, where the fish is with the piece of money. Yes, led by the Holy Spirit. Of course Peter got the fish, got the piece of money for the tax and paid for himself and for Jesus. Jesus can do that for you. He will make you pay your taxes, meet your needs and also give you the money to give for His ministry. Your family will be pleased, the government will be pleased, and the ministries will be pleased. A few years ago, there was a man called Natarajan. He was a mason. He was not a Christian and so did not know anything about Jesus. And through his hard work he earned a piece of property (1,200 sf), and he wanted to build a house because he wanted both his daughters to have a honorable life. But at that moment, when his relatives knew that he is going to build a house they became jealous. Suddenly he had a heart attack. He went to the hospital and doctors did all kinds of tests. They lost all the money one after another. They said, "You have to go through a surgery for which they had to spend all the money they had and also ran into debts. And finally when Natarajan came out of the hospital the doctors said that he had to resign his profession and just lie in his home. All that he inherited was ill health and debts. Nobody helped him. That's what happens when the devil attacks. Nobody was able to help him. But when he came home he was so much heart-broken that he began to drink and became an alcoholic. His wife who never worked outside became a house worker. She started to clean the vessels from house to house and raised money. Both their daughters were stopped from going to their colleges and were at home. They also began to work and do menial jobs. The whole dignity of their family came down to nothing. When somebody next to their house suddenly said to Natarajan's wife, "Why don't

you come with us, we are going to the Prayer Tower, let us go and pray", she did not know anything about Jesus, but she just went; and when she came to the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower they introduced her to Jesus and prayed for her. Great peace came into her heart. And somebody told her there about the Family Blessing Plan. And she said, " I want my family to be blessed. I want my family to be a blessing to the millions of families through the ministry of Jesus Calls". She was not a Christian. She never knew anything about Jesus. For the first time she is experiencing Jesus. She took a five hundred rupee currency. That's all she had in her hands. She enrolled her family in the Family Blessing Plan. Next morning she got up and went to the neighbor's house along with her husband. And they were watching the TV Program of Jesus Calls and right in the TV Program (You know these TV Programs are recorded 3 months, 6 months ahead of time because I travel so much). Right at that program, I pointed to the camera and said, "There is a man called Natarajan who is watching this program". And I said: Mr. Natarajan, You are addicted to alcohol and you have lost everything. You are not able to fulfill your obligations in your profession and also you are not able to continue your profession. Come to Jesus today; Jesus is transforming your life and healing you and giving you new life. And He will give you a new profession and you will prosper in it".

These prophetical words exactly described his situation. How real Jesus is! He is always on time with His work. That's the power of the Holy Spirit. As he joined me in that prayer in the TV Program, God's power came upon him and touched him. The Spirit of alcohol left him at that moment. He was totally healed. And in just a month's time, somebody came and said, " Sir, would you sell my property for me". He said, "I am not a real estate man, but he said, " You are here for 30 years, you know people and you sell it and give us and we give you ten thousand rupees. For them it was big money. Amazingly in a week's time, God enabled him to sell that property. And God gave him a real estate business. Today the whole family serves the Lord, loves the Lord and testifies in our prayer ministry. Today they are living a blessed life. Natarajan's two daughters are married. They have their own home and they have their own car. That's the power of God - the power of the Holy Spirit. God can do that for you too. Let not your heart be troubled. It is for this reason that Jesus suffered on the cross. He hung there naked. Isaiah 53 says, "When we saw Him, we turned our faces from Him. He did not have a form for us to look at Him". He became naked so that we can be filled with blessings - one after another. The one who has called you will not forsake you. Surely the Lord will meet all your need. Would you say, "Lord, I believe, You are going to make me a blessing - one blessing after another is going to fill me.. Transform me into the image of Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus". you have truly meant this prayer, you will begin to experience blessing after blessing. Let me drive home another beautiful truth. God has to compensate for your suffering, God has to compensate for your loses. Even though you have been righteous and still suffering for the sake of Christ, it is to you that God will bring one blessing after another. That's how our life is - The Dhinakarans. We had one problem after another, but every time we had one problem after another comes, it will soon be followed by one blessing after another. These blessings will lift us up out of that problem. Today by the grace of God, wherever we go and we are needed to pray for others we say, " Lord ! We have suffered, but yet you gave us a blessing. Now give this sister and brother a blessing and immediately God answers and blesses them with a child. Peter was provided a piece of money. Was it just for a one moment. No, he was a man who brought riches to build the churches. When he asked ; the people gave. God gave him that authority and power. Yes, you will be a blessing from today. That grace will abound upon you. Let not your heart be troubled.

IN CAPERNAUM A HOUSE: In Matthew 9:2,6, the Lord went to another home. While he was sitting in the home, a man who was paralytic, was carried to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, " Son, your sins are forgiven". Yes, Jesus

knew that he was suffering because of sin, and sickness which comes to us through many reasons: 1. Sin 2. By breaking natural laws 3. Demon powers 4. God allows you to go through temptation / sickness. As you go through it you can become a blessing to others. So, like these there are several reasons for sickness. But this man was sick because of his sin. And Jesus looked at him and said, " Son, I am not here to condemn you".

Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. And any sin can bring sickness. Whoever you may be, any sin can bring sickness. That's why God fills us with Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit keeps talking to us about sin; he keeps talking to us about righteousness and about judgment. When we keep our bodies as the temple of the Holy Spirit, He guards us. The Holy Spirit cleanses us from sin; removes the obstacles from us and then says, "Rise up and walk". The Holy Spirit shows us our

That's what God says to you too. The blessings that I give as long as I am alive will stay with you forever. I give you life abundantly. I have come to give life. Let not your heart be troubled. That's the heart of Jesus. He will never condemn us and send us back by saying, "You repent and then come to me". When we come to Him immediately He forgives our sin. Rather He said, "You cannot heal yourself, you are paralytic". So Jesus himself took the liberty and said, " Son, your sins are forgiven". Whether he asked for it or not, He said, " Take up your mat and rise up and go home". I love what Jesus said. He said, "Arise and take up your bed and go home". Yeah! He thought, "You have been throne from hospital to hospital; doctor to doctor. And you have been thrown away by your family members saying, "You are of no use to us", But Jesus said, "I am healing you, so that you can go home and enjoy family life; enjoy health with your family". That's the heart of our Lord Jesus.

weaknesses and our sins which we commit. Many times we don't look at our wives who really love us. We listen to the people who are outside more than our mate. We are not thankful for that loving husbands, loving wives, loving children. We don't value them. We value somebody on the streets who talks rubbish and bring words of rubbish into our family and bring sickness and destructions in the family. But Jesus says, "Arise now, take up your mat and go home. Enjoy your family life my son. No more sickness; no more condemnation; no more devil coming into your body. It is going to be - the Holy Spirit". Today He will bless you and He will make you love your family and honor your wife/husband. God for your children. Graciously God has given your children who love you. Many times we have been looking at the wicked people and we hurt our families and bring destructions to our own family. But Jesus comes and heals us and removes our sin and through the Holy Spirit builds our home again. It will happen to you. Your home will be free of your sickness. Parasites which bring sickness will never come and you will be together as a family. When you are together as a family that love will break the power of the wicked people in the world. That's how we the Dhinakaran's family survived till today. A National Television Channel interviewed my father and myself. They said, " How do you deal with criticism constructive, destructive criticism. My father was waiting to answer that question as a man of compassion. I said, " Sir, I have a special waste paper basket. When this criticism comes through magazine or in any written words, I put it there. I just close that. I don't care about any man or any woman's opinion. I care about God's opinion about me, God's love for me and love of the people that is all. And God has protected our family till today. Friend! There will be healing in your home. The Sun of righteousness will rise with healing under his wings upon your home. Let not your heart be troubled. Today, He will chase that spirit of sickness out of your home. Let not your heart be troubled. Today

you will chase that spirit of sickness out of your home. You will enjoy the love of Jesus. You will trust and have no fear, no condemnation. You will always love the people. God has made you as the light of the world. Your family is the light of the world. No condemnation shall be there for those who are in Christ Jesus. We will have only life and we will live as life givers. Today God is going to transform your family into a life-giving family. In all things Jesus is sufficient for you and He will perfect all that concerns you. Let not your heart be troubled.

MARTHA, MARY HOME: Finally, Jesus went to an another home. In Luke 10:38-42 we read that Martha received Jesus into her home. And Mary sat at the feet of Jesus Christ looking at him and listening to His words sitting at His feet. That's what Jesus expects from us. As He lives in your home, Jesus wants you to sit at His feet as a family, as an individual. Of course Martha also could have sat there, but she was worried about many things. She was worried about food, cleanliness, managing the guests at home, about taking care of Jesus and all other formalities of hospitality. But Mary sat at His feet. That's all Jesus expects from us. God expects a family which will sit at His feet and look at Him and listen to Him. And Jesus said, "Mary has chosen the good part which will never be taken away from her." All that God gives will not leave your family.

Yes, the world is transient. The job that one has today, no guaranty whether it will be there after some years, the money; no guaranty, health; no guaranty, the home; no guaranty, but Jesus said, " Mary who is sitting at my feet, looking at me all the time and hearing My words intently will have every blessing permanently with her. All the goodness shall be upon this family, upon her forever." That's what God says to you too. The blessings that I give as long as I am alive will stay with you forever. I give you life abundantly. I have come to give life. Let not your heart be troubled. Mary brought the word of God into her family. The same way if you read Luke 19:6, Zacchaeus who was a sinner, took Jesus to his home with joy. The moment you are filled with Jesus you will feel like bringing Jesus into your home and do everything to fulfill what God wants you to do. He said to Jesus, "Lord, I am giving away half of my wealth to the poor; I am giving away everything that I have taken unjustly from the people; I give it four times back". There was joy and salvation in that family. The works of God in the family brought great joy as Jesus went to that home with great joy. That's why the Bible says, " God stands as a witness between the husband and wife, so that they be faithful to each other" (Malachi 2:14.15). When both of them have their eyes on Jesus, they are faithful to each other. And when the husband and wife are faithful to each other, as God stands there as a witness between them in their Jesus Calls ď Ź October 2016 ď Ź www.jesuscalls.org

marriage, then God gives them a godly generation. Its automatic. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit. My friend, if you are worried about your children, you as husband and wife, strengthen your relationship first. As you become one with Christ individually, listening to the Word of God and doing the works of God, being faithful to each other and having the best communication through Jesus Christ, through prayer, through your work and through the word of God then automatically your children shall become a godly generation. When God descends into this family, when husband and wife are faithful to each other doing the works of God, then as Bible says, "Your children shall be taught by the Lord; and great shall be their peace"(Isaiah 54:13). They will feel so happy, when their daddy and mummy are having a godly relationship. And that's how He turns the heart of the Fathers to the children. Its not the father getting time with the children and doing the works with children. Doing the works between the husband and wife brings the godly generation and peace to their children. When the Holy Spirit flows out of the father and the mother, as said in Isaiah 59:21, the children can have the Holy Spirit. God takes the word of God, takes the Spirit of God which are upon the parents and puts it upon the children. Just like the seed comes from the father and gives birth through the mother's womb; the Spirit of God and the word of God has to come from the father and the mother into the children. The children receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the word of God, only through the relation-

ship of their parents. How important our relationship is before God and for our children. The Lord says in Acts 2:17, I will pour my Spirit upon the children. And your son daughters shall prophesy." What a day it will be! What a joy it will be! When your children starts prophesying God's plan and God's ways to you, their parents. It is going to happen in your family. What you sow you will reap. As you sow the good relationship full of the Holy Spirit, then your children shall reap God's blessings upon you by becoming a godly generation and prosper. Look at Abraham, Genesis 18:19, God says about Abraham that "I know Abraham will command his children to follow my commands and walk after me, so that whatever I have promised for Abraham I will do it for you. If you need God's blessing to come upon your family, in your life, God says, "You will have to command your children to walk after Lord". If you want a good job; if you want a good house; if you want joy, health and righteousness then you have to guide your children to walk after God's ways. That's how Abraham was blessed. God said, "Abraham will command his children to walk after me, so I will fulfill what I have promised to Abraham". God's promises are in the Bible, God's Promises may come to you through prophecies, but how will it come to pass in your life? When you make your children to follow the ways of the Lord. Automatically for their sake you will prosper.

Today God is going to give that grace, and how is that grace going to come? Through the Holy Spirit. "He that is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him"(1 Cor. 6:17). God unites the husband and wife to the Holy Spirit. He gives us humility to bear each other. The nature of Christ, who washed the feet of His disciples, and saved every disciple. Will be poured into you too. That's how God gives the husband the humbleness to wash the feet of his wife, the wife to wash the feet of her husband. And their children become godly. And the family receives every provision from God through the Holy Spirit. The nature of Christ will transform you from glory to glory into His image through the Holy Spirit. That's what God did for our family. My father and my mother were faithful in their relationship. And God has been Gracious to give us, my wife and myself. And our children are blessed. It will happen to you too. The Holy Spirit is here to strengthen you in your weaknesses (Rom.8:26). For He knows

the will of God, He will intercede for us with groaning which cannot be uttered. Today even as you read this message, ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit. He will bring Jesus in His fullness into you and one blessing after another will follow you. Your body, your life and your family will prosper and flourish. Tell Him, "Lord, my body is yours. My relationship with my wife and my children belongs to you. Give me grace to fulfill your Will. You paid the price for me to have the fullness Jesus". Friend! You have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. And now you need the fullness of Christ in you through the Holy Spirit. He is here right now - even as you are reading this message. He is the builder of the families. He is the One who raises the standard against the devil; He is the one who fills your borders with peace. He is the one who leads you into the plans of God; He is the one who keeps you from sin and Judgment and gift you His righteousness. God bless you.

The Bible describes Him as a God who does great things ‘beyond understanding’, ‘unfathomable’, ‘marvellous’ and ‘wondrous’ ‘without number’ (Amp version. Job 9:10). Before 2000 years when Jesus walked on the earth He did numerous and countless miracles, wonders and good deeds. He healed the sick; He delivered those in bondages and on and on and on. The Bible describes the abundance of His miracles and good deeds in this way in John 21:25 which says, “there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written”. This is the nature of our Lord – to do countless miracles. We have the same Lord in our hearts and lives today and even as

through this message. When he made me prepare this message he knew you will read it one day. That is His great wisdom, with which He works for the blessing of His children. He knows our needs and so will lead us accordingly. So cheer up! My friend, the Lord has decided to pour His blessings on you. When God blesses you, it will be like a dream. You can’t imagine it. You’ll wonder whether it is really happening. It will be so wonderful.

Limitless Blessings For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. (John 3:34) My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness And Your salvation all the day, For I do not know their limits. (Psalm 71:15) Look at these verses and you can see the expressions of abundance and overflowing. One verse says, ‘God does not give the Spirit by measure,’ which means God pours ‘without measure’. This is called ‘Superabundance’. No wonder David says, “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth (Psalm 34:1). His blessings would flow unceasingly. We too need to learn from David and worship the Lord , ‘continually’. Friend! Whether you ask for it or not; whether you desire for it or not, our Lord is going to bless you in abundance – without measure! During the beginning years of my ministry I went to preach in a School Campus Youth

Meeting, at Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. After I preached, even before I could begin to pray, the Holy Spirit descended upon those young teenagers and the students began to jump and rejoice in the Holy Spirit. Another girl, who was watching people jumping in the Holy Spirit, began to laugh at them and tease them. The girl who was watching the other girls getting anointed, teased them saying, “Why are these girls jumping like chickens whose necks were cut?”. I said, “Children please close your eyes and don’t keep looking around.” Just to respect my words the girl closed her eyes. Only a few seconds passed since she closed her eyes, the Holy Spirit fell upon the girl in an abundant flow. She could not control the flow and power of the Holy Spirit. She began to jump and clap her hands. She worshipped God. The same girl who teased them came up to the stage and testified saying, “I teased the other girls who were filled with the Holy Spirit but I too was filled by the Holy Spirit and jumped like them with joy in my heart. I am very happy about this experience.” See! That is how the Holy Spirit flows – in abundance. Please note that the Holy Spirit not only falls on those who desire His anointing but’ upon all flesh.” That’s what the Bible promises. He pours upon “all flesh” (Joel 2:28; Acts 2:17). When the Holy Spirit falls upon us, He will perform wondrous miracles. The Bible says that He alone does great wonders (Psalm 136:4) Jesus Calls  October 2016  www.jesuscalls.org

Blessings for others So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:31) Note the phrase ‘you and your household’. One more goodness about our father God is that He is not a God who blesses you alone. He also blesses your family, if you pray for your family; if you pray for your relatives and friends, He will bless your family, friends and relatives. He is such a liberal and generous God. He loves all people and in willing to bless everyone the richness of His grace. The Bible says that God is the Lord who is near to all who call upon Him in truth’ (Psalm 145:18, 19). Romans 10:12, 13 says that, “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend! You may be fervently praying for someone – your friend or relative. The Holy Spirit who descends upon you will also descend upon all those for whom you are praying. For your sakes, He will bless them. Yes! He’s such a generous God. In this context, another important testimony to the truth that God is the One who blesses abundantly is the story of Joseph in the Bible (Genesis 41:46-57). Look at the way he describes the blessing of God in Genesis 41:51. He names his first born son ‘Manasseh’, which means, “For God has made me forget all my toil.” God sent such an abundant flow of blessings in his life. In that flow all the worries and sadness that were hurting his heart from his past was washed away. Yes! Joseph came up in a

very hard way. He was abandoned by his family; his brothers sold him as a slave to slave – traders of Egypt. No one was there to show him love. Wherever he was, Joseph always looked upon God and He raised him up. He made him forget all the hurts of his past in just one flow of blessings. It just did not stop with one. Joseph named his second son ‘Ephraim,’ meaning, ‘God has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction’ (Gen 41:52). As Joseph interpreted the dream, God commanded prosperity in the land and brought – up a good harvest. The bible says that Joseph gathered grains like the sands of the sea (Genesis 41:48,49). The abundance of the crop shows the abundance of God’s heart. God not only fed Joseph with His blessings but also took care of his family as well. Then the children of Joseph spoke to Joshua, saying, “Why have you given us only one lot and one share to inherit, since we are a great people, inasmuch as the Lord has blessed us until now?” So Joshua answered them, “If you are a great people, then go up to the forest country and clear a place for yourself since the mountains of Ephraim are too confined for you.” But the children of Joseph said, “The mountain country is not enough for us”. And Joshua spoke to the house of Joseph—to Ephraim and Manasseh—saying, “You are a great people and have great power; you shall not have only one lot, but the mountain country shall be yours and its farthest extent shall be yours.” (Joshua 17:14-18) Look how God gave them a

large land and also a land flowing with milk and honey. The land that they acquired was beautiful (Ezekiel 20:6) Beloved! You may be in lack and insufficiency today; you may be in a condition where you don’t even have an own house to live – in peacefully. This month the Lord will bless – not only you, but will also fill your children and children’s children with the Holy Spirit and with blessings. The God who pours a no-room-to-contain blessings will also fill you and your family with blessings without measure. Your blessings will be full, pressed down and shaken together. (Malachi 3:10; Luke 6:38). Our Lord turns all curses into blessings (Deuteronomy 23:5) There was a brother named John who was tormented by the evil spirits. He wrote to the Prayer Tower about his problem and we too replied him with words of comfort, hope and love. At this juncture he heard that I am preaching in one of the regular healing meetings that happen at Chennai. He came to that meeting and sat there but the evil Spirit within him did not allow him to sit peacefully. After preaching, I began to pray and at that time that brother felt a very heavy hand come and rest upon him and press him hardly. It was the divine touch and the evil spirit left him once for all and from that day he lived in freedom. He wrote to us later saying that he is healed and living a free life. Friend! you being tormented by evil spirits? This month, the Lord will break all those curses upon you and fill you with His blessings. You will be blessed. This is exactly the thought of God on you. Look at how the Bible explains how you are so much in God’s thoughts and how safe you are. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11) Our God always takes ‘good’ decisions about us. You may think, “Oh! I am so small; I am useless; I am so unfortunate”, but look at the thoughts of God on you – He wants to bless you and deliver you from all your lack and want and set you on the path to success and glory. The world may be filled with thoughts of money and material but God’s thought about you are ‘high’ and ‘lofty’. From where this abundance of blessings come to us? To receive abundance of blessings, we should also receive abundance of anointing. When you desire in your heart and pray saying, “I want to grow up to the image of Christ “; when you say, “I need the same anointing that filled Him. God should fill me without measure,” then the Lord will bless you abundantly and make you rich and prosperous. Friend! The world and it’s riches can never satisfy you. Along with those riches will also come sorrow, but when God blesses, the Bible says, “He will add no sorrow to it.”(Proverbs 10:22). So you will not keep sitting and lamenting or crying; because when the Lord blesses, it will fill you to the full and

satisfy you. In Psalm 23:5 the Bible says, “God has anointed me with oil and my vessel is overflowing and running over”. His thoughts are always over us. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “His thoughts are for “good.” Good thoughts means ‘thoughts of blessings’ – abundant blessings. We need to see the truth that our Father is One who has thoughts of blessings for us. He has great pleasure in blessing His children. So the blessings will not only be upon you but will overflow and reach others around you – your family, friends, relatives, neighbours, colleagues and those around you. God will make you a blessing - a channel of blessing through whom abundant blessings will flow into their lives too.

The Blessings that Washes Away Shame But I am poor and needy; Yet the Lord thinks upon me. You are my help and my deliverer; Do not delay, O my God. (Psalm 40:17) Elkanah had two wives named Hannah and the other Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah had none. Every year Elkanah went to worship God and to give blood offering with his family. At that time, Elkanah used to give one portion for Peninah and her children and two portions for Hannah. Since Hannah was childless, Peninah used to tease her and hurt her. Every year during this family worship Hannah used to worship God with a heavy and sorrowful heart. She would he so hurt by Peninah’s hurtful actions. Friend! May be you are suffer-

ing social shame because you are lacking many blessings that all your friends, relatives and neighbour’s have. Every time there in a social gathering, you are singled out so you are hurt. So may be you are avoiding social gatherings. May be you are hurt by the arrow like words of teasing from your relatives. But look at what Hannah did for all that she faced; look at her reaction. She did not lament to anyone. She chose to lament to God and God alone. She never looked for any human comfort or help. She poured her heart to God. She asked with a genuine heart. She prayed with a broken and contrite heart. She said, “Lord! Remember me and give me a child” And God, granted her desire and gave her a son whom she named Samuel (1 Samuel 1:1-28) Friend! When we pour out our heart to God; He will remember us. Hannah dedicated the child God gave her to the service of the Lord Himself. Then the blessings continued one after another. God granted her three sons and two daughters (1 Samuel 2:21). She rejoiced in the Lord and worshiped Him saying, “My heart rejoices in the Lord; My horn is lifted high My mouth boast over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance” (1 Samuel 2:1) For all the days of tears and sorrow Hannah went through, God gave her days of joy, victory and success. Let me share with you the thrilling testimony of a dear Sister named Sumathi Rajasekar. Even after eight years of their marriage they did not have a child. They consulted many doctors and tried many methods in vain. Finally the doctor said, “You cannot give birth to a child naturally, so you need to follow the artificial means– ‘test tube’ procedure, for which you may have to spend around rupees 2 lakhs. That came as a devastating shock to Sumathi – Rajasekar couple. They were not in a financial stage to make so much money, so they began asking loans from friends and relatives but no friend or relative gave any help. After all their friends and relatives refused help, they stood alone, dejected and hopeless. It was in this situation they came to the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower at Rajaji Salai in Chennai and prayed genuinely and sincerely saying, “God please give us a baby and make our lives meaningful and happy.” God heard their broken – hearted prayer and performed a miracle in their lives. Steve Harvey who is an anchor in a popular TV Programme for the last 5 minutes during which he said, “ God has given to each one of us a gift when we were born. We need to discover that gift and use it for our development and success and God will bless our efforts.” Then he shared the story of one of his friends who was a grass cutter in the garden of houses. People used to tease him for his work because they all underestimated the work and looked down upon the work. But

he valued the work God had given him and poured out his best into the work and did it as a service to God- thanking God for it and applying all his heart and soul into it. He also used it to spread the love of God. To all the homes who called him to cut the grass in their gardens he shared the gospel with them and glorified God. God blessed the work of his hands and the man began to grow in his work to the stage of opening a Land Tilling Company. The company grew in leaps and bounds and became a 40 million dollar company. “Friends” said Harvey, after telling this story, “When you jump from a mountain with a parachute at your back, it will help you only when you press the

button and operate the parachute. Only then it can save you by making you float. That’s exactly how you should use the gift that God has given you. Only when you use it, God will bless it and make you soar high in success and victory” Harvey closed his inspirational speech in just 5 minutes. Friend! Let me tell you a truth. God has chosen you to bless you and lift you up in life and that is why He has made you read this message. When you are lifted up, His Name is also glorified. After seeing him , I went to the Central Railway station to return home. That time I saw a train which was going to Coimbatore and immediately I thought of the Bethesda Prayer Centre. Deciding to visit Bethesda and pray there, I took the ticket and boarded that train. I attended the last Sunday’s service there. After the service I requested a prayer warrior to pray for the gift of a child and he too prayed fervently for us. The Lord blessed my wife’s womb, in 2014. After 12 years of married life, He blessed us with a boy baby on May 12, 2015. Now our son is one year old. We have named him Karunya Paul and share this testimony with a grateful heart. My dearly beloved in Christ, I have fervently prayed for this month of October to be a month of fullness – a month filled with God’s blessings in all aspects of your life - in your business; in your profession; in all your new endeavours. Yes! My friend! God will miraculously meet all the needs for which you have been praying in faith and waiting in patience. God will meet all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs - heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. (Romans 8:15-17) Look at two wonderful words in this passage that describes ‘who you are’ – your position in Christ and ‘what you have’ – your inheritance in Christ. You are ‘a son’ and ‘a heir’ and that must tell you how much you are going to be blessed. When you believe this truth you’ll find your fear and doubts melting away from your heart (2 Timothy 1:7). The Holy Spirit who will act as the spirit of your inheritance will enable you to receive all that God has planned for you and has in stored for you. He will guide you to receive your inheritance.

est’ means ‘peace’. Our gracious Lord Jesus says, “My son/daughter, just come to me. I know you are weary, fatigued and weak. I know that you are heavily laden; just come to me”. When you accept this invitation and go to Him, He would give you rest or peace. This peace given by Him would surpass all human understanding, knowledge and wisdom. The Bible also says that this peace is a peace which surpasses all un-

derstanding and which the world can never give (Philippians 4:7; John 14:27). When I was a young boy, quite often, I used to get a terrible headache. Mostly I had this attack when I was in the class room. I wouldn’t be able to do anything and could not bear the pain. At such times, my classmates used to carry me home. The moment my mother would see me, she would know that I have had another attack of headJesus Calls

ache. She would take me in, put me on her lap and rub some ointment in order to alleviate my pain. Whenever I felt her loving and tender touch, my headache would disappear. By the time, I woke up, my headache would have gone.

The Lord says in Is. 49:15, “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you” My dear brothers and sisters, are

you weary and broken hearted? The Lord Jesus calls you, who labour and are heavily laden, and says, “”Come to Me. I will give you rest”. The Bible could be divided in to three parts. One is the Old Testament in which God directly interacted with man through His prophet. The other is, the part in which Jesus Christ, the Son of God comes down in the form of man and walks with man. The third one is the days of the resurrected Jesus. Yes, we are living in the days of the resurrected Jesus. Today, the Lord communes with man through the Holy Spirit. The experience of receiving the Holy Spirit is nothing but the invisible Almighty God coming down in the form of the Holy Spirit. So these are the days of the Holy Spirit. In the Old Testament the Almighty Jehovah the invisible God says, ‘Oh everyone who thirsts come to Me I will give you water’ (Isaiah 55:1). Our gracious Lord Jesus says, “Come unto me all that you labour and are heavy laden I will give you peace”. In these days of the Holy Spirit, God says, ‘Come unto

thirsts”(Revelation 22:17). In all these three sections, God says ‘Come to Me”. Let us, who languish without rest, march in to the arms of the Almighty Jesus. He will embrace us, kiss us and give us His peace.

REST FROM WEARINESS “For all his days are sorrowful, and his work burdensome; even in the night his heart takes no rest. This also is vanity”(Ecclesiastes 2:23). Labour is absolutely necessary as long as we live in this world. The Bible says that all things are full of labour (Ecclesiastes 1:8) In Genesis, 3rd chapter, God made the first man Adam and his wife Eve and God walked with them. Yet He had told them not to do certain things. But when they disobeyed God’s commandment, with a sad heart He had to say “I cannot keep you with me anymore”. He told Adam, “You will have to live by your sweat, you will toil and till this ground and out of this abundance you shall live”. Thus saying, He sent them out (Genesis 3:17). The Preacher also advises, ‘Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might” (Ecclesiastes 9:10). So, in this world, it is necessary for us to work and earn our livelihood. The Bible says that ‘all our labour finally amounts to nothing. The more you work, and the more you labour, the more you would be sorrowful. Your work is going to be more grieving. With all the labour in the night when you go to bed you don’t have any rest in your soul’ (Ecclesiastes 3:9; 2:23). Yes, this is how you might have sought for rest and peace, having failed to get any reward for your labour. The Bible also says that ‘as man came from his mother's womb, Jesus Calls

naked shall he return, he shall take nothing, and all his labour is for his mouth (Ecclesiastes 5;15; 6:7). All our labour will not give rest to our soul and will not give us any profit for the other world. That’s why the Lord Jesus promises to give rest to all those who labour and are heavy laden. When we go to Him, He removes all our burdens, pains and weariness and frustration over our labour and gives us His peace. Yes, He says, “My peace I give you” (John 14:26,27). Let us receive this peace given by the Lord. In this world, there are certain things which burden us

REST FROM BURDEN OF SIN ‘For my iniquities have gone over my head; Like a heavy burden they are too heavy for me. I am troubled, I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.” (Psalm 38:4,6). Our sins always follow us (Numbers 32:23). We lose our peace of mind and become weary in soul because of our sins. A young boy wrote to me from another country. Once he had come to India with one of his relatives. There was a beautiful young girl in that house and during his stay there, he moved closely with her, enticing her with deceitful words. He promised to marry her and spoiled her morality. But once he left the place after the holidays, he abandoned her. The girl wrote a letter to him saying that her parents were trying to settle her marriage

and that she would commit suicide if her past sin came to light. This letter ruined his peace. Yes, his sin chased him. He had written to me saying, “Brother, please pray for me. I have no peace. Please advise me what I should do”.

Yes, man’s sins follow him all the time, night and day. The Lord Jesus says “Come unto Me with all your sins, whatever they might be”. Every sin of every man and every woman was laid upon Jesus (Isaiah 53:6). He was crucified on the cross for our every transgression (I Peter 2:24). When we go to Him with all the sins that follow us, He will deliver us from all bondage of sin and will give us peace and rest. When Hitler sent his army to seize Poland, they captured hundreds of people and put them in the jail. One morning it was found that a few prisoners had escaped. German soldiers were sent to catch those convicts. But they could not. So the commander was furious and said to the rest of the prisoners, “I am going to choose ten of you at random and I am going to punish them. Some of you have escaped and have broken my order. They had committed a crime. So instead of those prisoners, I am going to execute these 10 people”. Then, he selected three people. When he pulled up a fourth man, he started crying and said, ‘Sir, I have a wife and a few children. Don’t kill me, every day I am dreaming that I would go back and see my little family. If you kill me, they will become or-

phans. Please show me mercy”. That instant, another prisoner stood up. He was a catholic priest and he said, “Sir, I have nobody in this world. I have no family. If I die, I would go to my Father in heaven. Please let go of this man. Kill me in his place”. Alas, the priest was sentenced to be executed and the other man was released. Several years back, when he could go home and meet his wife and children, he shared with them about this moving incident. In due course, this incident reached the ears of the Pope, who declared that dead Priest to be a Saint.

Yes, Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sin. He offered Himself for us to redeem us from sin. So, let us cry to Him. Then He would embrace us and tell us, ‘Son/ daughter, your sins are forgiven (Matthew 9:2). I have taken up all your burdens on Me”. Oh, what a wonderful experience!. You can experience this cleansing power. Jesus says, “Is sin a burden to you? I will take over that burden”.

REST FROM SICKNESS Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows….” (Isaiah 53:4). The sickness of sin constrains us. If we read Job 7:20 it speaks about the sorrowful side of a great man of God called Job. Job is a righteous man and suddenly disaster after disaster strikes him. All his 10 children pass away and all his worldly possessions are lost. He is tortured by painful burning boils Jesus Calls

from foot to the crown of his head. And he takes for himself a potsherd with which to scrape himself while he sits in the midst of the ashes. It is then he cries out to God, “I am a burden unto myself. Lord, why did you allow it?’. Yes, sicknesses become a burden to us. In the year 1990, after my heart surgery, my both legs became very weak. I was like a cripple for more than 9 months. One day, I cried to the Lord saying, “Father, I have become a burden unto myself, I cannot walk again, I cannot preach again, and I will never be a useful vessel again”. As I was thus crying on my bed, on 26th September 1990, I heard the voice of the Holy Spirit. He said, “Son, the Bible says that ‘by My stripes you are healed (Isaiah 53:5), ‘By the strips of Jesus you are healed (I Peter 2:24), and that “Jesus took our infirmities on the cross’ (Matthew. 8:17). Is this a fact or not?”. I said, “Lord it is a fact”. Then He said, “If so, believe that Jesus Christ has healed you on the cross and step down and start walking”. I trembled and said, “Lord I cannot put my legs down. The moment I try to stand up I would collapse and fall. Two people have to carry me all the time”. The Holy Spirit said, “No, get down from the bed. You will not fall”. My legs trembled and there was no strength in them. Slowly I touched the ground. A mysterious strength came into my legs I steadied myself. Then He said ‘Walk now’. I said, “I will fall”. But He said “You will not fall, I will hold you”. I held onto

the wall and put one step forward. My legs began to gain strength since that day. Gradually I started walking.

Yes, Jesus understands our weakness. Matthew 8:17 says that He took our infirmities’. So when you come to Him, He carries your sickness. Then, you who are not able to walk would walk. If you say, “Lord, I am not able to see”, you will get your sight because of Him. He will carry your burden. Does family burden oppress you? He will bless you and remove that burden from you. The Bible says, “Cast your burdens upon Him’ (Psalm 55:22; I Peter 5:7 ). The Lord Jesus was alone in the Garden of Gethsemane. The Bible says that His soul was exceedingly sorrowful unto death. His soul was

crushed in the Garden of Gethsemane. He prayed with great agony. His sweat became like great drops of blood. So, He understands all your agonies. He will understand you. Unable to bear His grief and agony on the cross, the Lord cried out, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" (Matthew 27:46). So He invites you lovingly, “ I know your agony; come to Me”. When we cry, He would remember His prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane. There is no need for us to take back our sorrows and pains once we come to His feet. He removes all our sins, sinful habits and the shackles of slavery. You may be anyone – educated or uneducated; rich or poor; strong or weak in faith. Jesus tells you, “Come to Me”. He tasted death

for each one of us (Hebrews 2:9). He shows no partiality (Romans 2:11; Acts 10:34). The Lord Jesus gave His life for the sake of every man (I Timothy 2:6; Mark 10:45; Titus 2:11). He loves each one of us. So you should never say, “My sin is terrible. My sickness is horrible. It cannot be cured. No man can solve my problem”. There is no sin or sickness that He cannot remove. He has carried away everything on the cross. He gave His life for everyone of us. He has sent the Holy Spirit, the Comforter into this world. Today, when you come to Him, He will fill you with His Spirit. He will give you the peace which the world cannot give, and the same peace and rest which Jesus  had.

We read in the Bible about the incident where a little boy gives his five loaves and two fish to the Lord Jesus and how He blessed it and fed more than five thousands with it. We read how that little boy was of a source of blessing to the thousands. Similarly, by joining the divine vision of God given to the Jesus Calls ministry, your children can be a blessing to the millions of broken hearted people. Job abroad We enrolled our daughter Anita in the Young Partner’s Plan, when she was five years old. The Lord took care of her schooling and helped her to do well in her studies. She wanted to do Nursing after her +2. She appeared for the entrance exam in CMC Vellore. That year nearly 5000 students

appeared for the entrance exam. The Lord helped our daughter to get admission among the 60 available seats. She completed her studies successfully and was working in the same hospital. The Lord gave her excellent wisdom and lifted her up in such a way that the doctors preferred her over the others, while performing surgeries. She wanted to pursue her studies and joined a college in Chennai for her higher studies. As she completed her second year, she got a job order from one of the countries in Central Africa. We were financially constrained and did not know how to meet her travel expenses. But her company took care of everything. henever and wherever you want you can call upon the Holy Spirit who is always willing to come to your aid and set you free from your shackles. Yes! Anywhere – including your college, home, travel and work place. Just as you text your friend and ask him or her to meet you when you feel like meeting him or her, you can ask the Holy Spirit to help you like a friend at the point of your need . When you are in trouble ; when you are caught in any shackles that the devil trapped you in, ask the Holy Spirit to meet you in your troubled place and you will realise how close He can be to you and how He can set you free by His power and wisdom . Yes! He can talk and walk with you.

Comforter And secondly the Holy Spirit gives us comfort. And I will pray the Father and He will give you another Helper (Comforter) that He may abide with you forever (NKJV) (John 14:16) Jesus lives in us through the Holy Spirit and comforts us. How does He comfort us? Through His word. My father always tells this story. He was also not having a good time during his college days. He was attracted by all the friends and all the pleasures of this world. He spent too much time in worldly pleasures and so he lost track of what he needed to do in his life. He got pulled away from God’s plan. He never asked God what He wanted him to do. At that time his dad - my grandfather, was holding special meetings for the Holy Spirit to come and meet the people. In one of those meetings my grandfather was preaching saying, “If you want to become somebody in this world, Jesus can make you that ‘somebody’. Are you sick and tired of being a ‘nobody’? Today! Jesus wants to make you a ‘somebody’ and great person in this world”. When my dad heard those words he was completely convicted in his heart. He cried to the Lord saying, “Lord ! Make me a somebody Lord. Make me a great person”.

God gave him a great desire on that day and until this day that desire has not stopped. Friend! Nothing of this world can take away from you what God has given. It keeps on going. After this prayer , God filled my dad with the Holy Spirit in that meeting. Then he went back to his studies where he saw failures and began to face it with boldness and clarity. Whenever he use to study he would take his book and place a chair by his side and pray saying, “ Holy Spirit! Come and sit with me. As I turn page by page I am going to pray over that page so that you may give me understanding on the subject that is in that page”. Then whenever he came across a concept he would just say, “Lord, teach me this concept”, and then he would study the concept and it would be so amazing how he would understand what he could not understand before. Hard things became so simple to him.

He found great success in his studies where he was a failure earlier. Yeah! God turned his failures around to success and raised him up to be a man who received a gold medal in his college. He didn’t stop with that but went on to do Ph.D., and he become the youngest person to do Ph.D., in marketing in the whole of the then Madras (Chennai) . Is it not amazing! The Holy Spirit turns things around in your life. Friend! If you haven’t experienced Him in your life yet I encourage you to try Him. His plans are much higher to your plans and can lift you up many times higher than where your plans could

take you. Isaiah 55 says this wonderfully. Let me quote it for you with my words of explanation in the brackets : For My thoughts (plans for your life) are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways ( the path to success and good life) ,” says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher, than the earth, so are My ways higher (in quality more beautiful and wonderful) than your ways, and My thoughts higher than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9) Friend! Let me reveal a truth to you: God has already planned your life before He could send you into this world and He is waiting to accomplish that plan in your life. He is so patient, especially in these last days. When there is water all around this world, fires, earthquakes, terror and wars, what are we to do in the midst of all this? Should we go and hide? No, my friends. God has not called us to hide with the spirit of fear. We are not here to live by the world; we here to live by God’s spirit and conquer this world. He has sent us to be more than conquerors in this world. He has sent us to be the light of this world. Are you going to hide that light? Or are you going to shine it brighter for Jesus? The Holy Spirit is waiting for you right now to make this decision. If you just say, “ Yes!”, He will flow into you. This great God wants to do such great things in your life also. Friend! Are you shackled by sin today? By bad habits? By laziness? Are you shackled by the lack of wisdom and memory power? Are you shackled by lack of opportuniJesus Calls

You can honour and welcome the Holy Spirit right now even as you are reading this message. You can receive Him right now? You can talk to Him and walk with Him from this moment. Friend! Get ready to see visions through the Holy Spirit. Get ready to have victory in your studies and in your leadership qualities. God is going to make you a tremendous leader in this nation. You may be a small and weak person but God is turning you into a leader right now with tremendous authority and stature. God’s honour is coming to you. You are receiving great favour among all men. He is turning every situation favourable to you. Yes, He is entering into your life and doing mysterious things. According to His will and plan whatever you command, it will happen. Sister Stella Dhinakaran “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins’ (I John 4:8-10). “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Yes, God loved us so dearly that He offered Himself for us, as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma (Ephesians 5:2), submitting Himself in obedience to the will of the Father (Hebrews 10: 7). Perhaps, you are worried saying, “Oh, I don’t have anyone in my family to show me love; nobody is there to even talk to me; my days are spent in loneliness…” Youngsters may be troubled telling, “My parents are always bitter towards me; there is none in my family to talk to me with love”. But, God offered His only begotten Son on the cross, just for your sake and manifested His divine love. So, this love would transform you. This love of the Lord is free. When you receive this love, everlasting joy would always abide in your family. Let us meditate shortly on the

ways in which the Lord’s love works in our family:

Love in the family life: “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham…’ (Luke 19:9). Once, when Jesus entered and passed through Jericho, a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and was rich, sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature. So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way. But, knowing the desires of his heart, the loving Lord Jesus, came seeking him in that place and said, “”Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” So saying, He went with him. All those who saw this complained saying, “He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.” But the Lord said, ‘The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Jesus Calls  October 2016  www.jesuscalls.org

(Luke 19:10). The worldly people may accuse you in many ways and deride you saying, “She is a sinner; she is bad; she always creates problems in the family; she is separated; she is full of filth, lust, dirt, and is demonic’ and so on (Ephesians 4:18,19). But the same Lord, who went seeking Zacchaeus, a sinner and granted salvation to his family by visiting his house, tells you with love, “This world may scoff at you and reject you as a sinner. But, I, who gave My life for you, have come seeking you, who are lost, in order to save you, grant salvation to your family and to give you eternal life” “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent” (John 17:3). Zacchaeus went to that place with the desire to see who Jesus was. Knowing his desire, the Lord went there seeking him. Likewise, don’t you too desire to know who Jesus is, how He would help you

and how He would build your family? The following Scriptures are of great encouragement to us, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him…’ (II Chronicles 16:9). ‘He (the Lord) knows those who trust in Him’ (Nahum 1:7). “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:31). A girl, born in a family that did not know the Lord, came to know of Him through other young girls who shared about the love of the Lord, since when she was in the school and college. She developed a great love for Jesus and began to hold on to Him. She had strong faith on Him. When she reached the marriageable age, as per the custom, her parents started seeking alliance for her. It was her desire to marry someone, who had accepted the Lord so that she could have a blessed life. But she could not openly tell her desire to the family. Knowing that God always wants His children to live well, she began to tell her desires only to Him. She got married. The boy too had accepted Christ though he had come from a similar background. When she met her husband for the first time, he asked her, “Do you know the Lord?’ . So she began to share her experience with him and finally said, “The reason why I am so happy and peaceful is that I have the knowledge of knowing Jesus”

On hearing this, her husband said, “Oh, I’m thrilled! The Lord has given me the same experience. I came to know of Him when I was in the college. Since then I began to love Him dearly. When my parents started seeking alliance for me, I too was praying that I would be blessed if I could get a girl who knows the Lord. The Lord has heard my prayer and has given me a wonderful wife”. Both of them loved the Lord dearly and held on to Him. The Lord accepted their prayer of faith and built up their family. My dear sisters, perhaps you are lamenting, ‘Alas, my family is broken or separated”. But, because of your faith and love on the Lord, He will build up your family in a beautiful way, no matter how bad it is now. Jesus, who transformed the life of Zacchaeus, a sinner and changed his family, would build your family too in an incredible way. So rejoice in the Lord. Hold on to Him. Place your complete trust only on Him and live with a close fellowship with Him.

Transforming Love ‘ Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation’ (Isaiah 12:3). When salvation comes into us, joy, peace and blessing too would come into us. The reason, when we open the doors of our heart to the Lord, He Himself comes in and stays with us (Revelation 3:20). Never languish saying, “I am living in sin and transgressions; Will the Lord come into me?’ Call unto Him, saying, “Lord, I am a sinner; yet look unto me”. of glory (Colossians 1:27). Also, you and He would be one as St. Paul says, ‘it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me’ (Galatians 2:20). Apostle John too mentions this thus, ‘truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ’ (I John 1:3). The Lord will give you this fellowship. He gives you a new life and changes you into a new woman (II Corinthians 5:17). You become His own (I Peter 2:9; Titus 2:14, Psalm 135:4). He makes you His own children (Romans 8:15,16). Also your conscience is cleansed from dead works (Hebrews 9:14). Out of His love, the Lord gives you a clean and a faithful heart and grants you divine blessings and full joy. Brother Dhinakaran and I got married in the year 1959. Since then, by the grace of God, both of us feared God and His Words and gave Him priority. Hence, He transformed us with His love, was with us even when we faced mountainous problems, taught us and wonderfully led us by His hand. Even after my husband entered into glory in the year 2008, the Lord has been with me and leading me by His hand, all these 8 years. I took hold of the Lord when I was 16 years. His love transformed me. I began to read the Bible diligently. Since then, the Word of God has been my blessing. So, read the Bible diligently. The Lord will speak to you through the Scriptures. Whatever you do shall prosper. The Lord will grant you a prosperous life. The Lord will look on him who is poor and of a con-

trite spirit, and who trembles at His Word (Isaiah 66:2). When we read the Bible diligently, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). When you seek the Lord with faith, you too shall be blessed like Abraham. “…those who seek me diligently (early morning) will find me’ (Proverbs 8:17). My dear young children, when you seek the Lord earnestly by reading the Bible and praying whenever you have time and when you love Him and hold on to Him, He will transform you by His love. He will walk in your midst (Deuteronomy 10:12,13). He will be with you in your family as well as in your personal life (Psalm 40:17; 70:5; 146:5). When you face disappointments, sorrow and unexpected sufferings and say, ‘My foot slips’, He would hold you with His mercy (Psalm 94:17-19).

Love that changes darkness into light: ‘For You will light my lamp; The LORD my God will enlighten my darkness” (Psalm 18:28). Then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday’ (Isaiah 58:10). There is darkness in everyone’s life – no child, no marriage, no job, no health, and no savings. The darkness of ‘nothing’ is surrounding us. But, in the midst of this darkness, God, who calls those things which do not exist as though they did (Romans 4:17), will be with you and remove the darkness of ‘nothingness’ to light.

Once, when a dear mother was interviewed for a TV Programme, she shared with me an amazing testimony: She and her husband were working and earning a lot. But, suddenly the husband was removed from his job because of an unwanted reason. The family struggled without proper income. They sought the help of the relatives but none was willing. It was at this time that she visited the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower and got prayers. The Lord, who hears prayers, did a miracle. The people of the same office, which had earlier rejected her husband, called him back and reinstated his job. This mother also got a government job. The darkness in that family was removed. Now her family is filled with the Lord’s blessings.

Holy Spirit who was given to us” (Romans 5:5). What are the blessings that we receive when the Holy Spirit comes into our heart?

You shall receive power: “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8).

There may be many shortcomings, problems, strife and rifts in your family. If you are the reason, you should humble yourself. The Holy Spirit will give you the strength to be a ‘Can two walk together, unless peacemaker. they are agreed?’ (Amos 3:3). In order to have oneness of mind and joy between the husband and wife, the presence of God should be there. Only then, ‘one accord, one mind, same love, lowliness of mind, and mind of Christ’ would be formed in you (Philippians 2:2,3,5). The Lord is walking in your midst to give you this wonderful life. Ask Him saying, “Lord, give peace, unity, oneness of mind, and one accord in my family”. Then He would fill you with His presence and grant you the joy of salvation. He will be with you in your family life, remove all darkness and grant you rich blessings. Accordingly, God gives us divine power and strengthens us. You would become bold and strong in the Lord. After receiving the Holy Spirit, both Peter and John, who were ignorant and uneducated, began to preach the Gospel boldly. ‘Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus’ (Acts 4:13). What a glorious life! Shouldn’t you too arise and shine for the Lord as a family? Commit yourself to the Lord for your family to be filled with this divine love. In 1955, Brother Dhinakaran committed his heart to the Lord and became His servant. After

that, he began to read the Bible diligently. One day when he was reading the Bible, the following verse flashed before his eyes, “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him” (Acts 10:38). So, with thirst he started seeking for this divine experience which the Lord Jesus had. “For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring” (Isaiah 44:3) The Lord, who has promised thus, is faithful. He never fails in His promises. Accordingly He filled him. The Lord did not stop with that. On hearing his experience, I too started praying. The Lord filled me also. Today, He has filled my son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren with His Holy Spirit. Today, He is waiting to give you di-

vine joy and blessing to your family. ‘But above all these things put on love (the Lord’s), which is the bond of perfection’ (Colossians 3:14). A particular woman in a family had accepted the Lord. But there was a misunderstanding among the sisters. One day, when she was praying, as was her custom, the Holy Spirit came down and spoke to her saying, “My daughter, the purpose for which I have saved and chosen you, is not to give room for fights but to bring peace in your family through you and lead them towards salvation. Today, it is in your hands to bring peace in your family. So do it”. Immediately, the woman obeyed His words saying, “Lord, I obey Your Words; give me the strength. Whatever may be the reason for this fight, I humble myself before them”. So saying, she bought some fruits and went to them and spoke to them lovingly as if nothing had happened. came in their midst. He took control of everyone so that no negative words but only words of peace proceeded from them. Through that woman, He commanded love, unity and one accord in that family. Today, the whole family is saved and stands as a good testimony for the Lord. “…love one another as I have loved you’ (John 15:12). According to this, the Lord wants to change us too. He will make divine love flow out of you like rivers of living water (John 7:38). New strength, new anointing, miraculous work I am the leader of the Esther Prayer Group in our area. Thank you for this month’s promise verse. Every verse is refining me. rom this we beautifully infer the glory of getting united with the Lord. When a mother moves closely with her baby, it is quite common for her to hug the child, shower kisses on him and do whatever he wants. This is how the mother develops a close relationship with her child. This is a worldly act of love. Nobody would deny it. Similarly, a child of God or a child belonging to Christ should have this kind of relationship with the Lord. I have shared my own experience on many occasions. Ever since the Lord came into my room and spoke to me, He and I had a great fellowship. Until then my parents’ love alone mattered to me the most. But, after this divine experience, I held on to the Lord firmly. After that whenever I thought of Him, my heart would rejoice. Whenever I tried to do something that was displeasing to Him, a godly fear would arise in me. Thus the Lord gave me the strength to live a holy life, like Him. Also, whenever I was walking or going by bus or train, my heart would be united with Him. My mouth would be singing His praises. Remembering the blessings that He did for me, I would be continually offering the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of

(Proverbs 1:33). our lips, giving thanks to His name (Hebrews 13:15). Until now, the Lord has thus given me the grace to enjoy a divine life of living close to Him, by obeying His Words. Whenever any distress or tearful path or sorrow came in my life, I used to take only the Most High Lord as my refuge, look unto Him and speak to Him. Somebody might have noticed me when I thus spoke to Him or somebody might have misunderstood me when they would have seen me talking to Him, while walking. But I was not concerned about such things. The reason, it is always such a joy to talk to the Lord. For example, when I go to share God’s message in Gospel meetings, I would keep on talking to Him in my heart. So, the words that I speak in these meetings would be from the Holy Spirit. Paul refers to this thus, ‘…it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me’ (Galatians 2:20). Similarly, instead of the message that I would share in the Gospel meetings the Lord would appear in that place and speak to His children seated before Him. This is my experience. since if so, there would be no room for any fear. He will be with you in any crisis. He will appear before the people who want to hurt you by ridiculing and scoffing at you and give out an apt word for them. They cannot stand before that word. They would flee in shame. The reason, that word is ‘Jesus’. God’s presence would always surround those who thus obey Him, and are filled with His presence in order that His Word would proceed from them. David too beautifully tells about this through his experience, ‘I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved’ (Proverbs 16:8). My dear ones, this is a divine experience. Do you have this experience in your life? Examine yourself. A life that is devoid of this experience cannot be said to be a Christian life. Rather such a life is deceitful and hypocritical. So, right now, discard all the deceitful things in your life. When you keep the Lord always before you, how can sin be there? How would wicked words come out of your mouth? Sinful life would never come near you. Seeing you, the devil would be put to shame. Thus the Lord’s presence would always surround

you. That’s why David too spoke boldly with faith, ‘I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved’. Generally women are attacked by fears. They would always depend on somebody. But as seen in the above verse, since David had the Lord always with him, he was never afraid and was never moved. Read the Bible and study how many afflictions assailed him! When you too face even a trivial problem, do not magnify it and waste your life. You too should enjoy experiencing the divine and blessed life of walking with God. In order that such fears should depart from your life, these days the Lord grants His Holy Spirit to those who call unto Him and obey Him. In the Bible, in Acts 10th chapter we read about God sending His servant Peter to the house of Cornelius, a devout man of another nation, and filling the gathered people with anointing when Peter spoke to them about the way of salvation. My dear sisters, today, would you desire for the Holy Spirit to fill you personally or as friends or as a family? When you are thus filled with the Holy Spirit, it is certain that the Lord would remove all your fears and grant you a powerful and sound mind according to the Scriptures, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind’ (II Timothy 1:7). There wouldn’t have been anyone in this world, who was as timid and fearful as I was. But, after I clung on to the Lord, He has delivered me from all fears, has granted

me the Spirit of power, love and sound mind, has been with me always and has given me the grace to arise and shine for Him. Dear sisters, who are reading this, would you ask the Lord for this divine experience? Obey His words. Then as per His Word, His hand

am married and have four children. I am working in the Agricultural department. In 2001, all of a sudden I lost my husband. That time my children were too small. My future looked bleak. I did not know how to manage all alone, with four children. Nobody came forward to help me. So I was broken hearted. I was always heavily burdened in my heart. I went to many places seeking peace but could not get deliverance from by mental burdens. So deciding to commit suicide by consuming pesticide, I bought it and came home. I was planning to take it the next morning and went to bed. I could not sleep and was flicking the TV channels and crying. The next morning arrived. e were living in Kannagi nagar, Duraipakkam, Chennai. We have three children. The eldest son is doing 5th std, the second one is doing 4th std and the youngest one is studying 1st standard. My husband had been addicted to alcohol for more than 10 years. He also had smoking habit. Hence he used to spend all his earnings for these habits. We suffered financially. We had to pay a rent of Rs.700/- which we could not. Poverty tormented us. Also my husband always used to fight with us in an inebriated condition. So there was no peace in the family. Question: The Bible says, ‘this is the victory that has overcome the world; our faith’ (I John 5:4). But, how to overcome by faith, at times of great distress?

es, we read in the Bible that ‘all Scripture is given by inspiration of God’ (II Timothy 3:16). These Scriptures give us the grace to know doctrine, to get re-proofed and correction, to learn the instructions in righteousness, and to thoroughly get equipped for every good work. These days, the number of those who know this glory and act accordingly, is very few. That’s why we hear of so many problems confronting man in his personal as well as family life; in fact we see this with our own eyes. The Bible explains this thus: He, who honours God’s words, honours God Himself (John 1:1). So dear ones, the reason for this faith to be formed in us, is ‘God’s Words’. God wants to dwell in the families or in a man, who has the desire for these Scriptures. This is the first step for faith. ‘So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God’ (Romans 10:17). My dear ones, examine your life! Do you have a reverence and zealous desire for the Lord or His Word? The Lord Jesus is a great example for this. When devil, the tempter came to tempt Him (Matthew 4:4), we read in the Bible how wonderfully He used the Scriptures to defeat him. Accordingly, if we

too are diligent to read the Scriptures every day and meditate on them, those words would be embedded in our heart. After that, if you use these Words and pray when trials or crisis confront you, a great hope would arise in you. This hope is faith. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen’ (Hebrews 11:1). Yes, like the Lord, when we too are strong in the Scriptures, it would be easy for us to overcome any trial brought by devil, the tempter. This is how our faith would work in us through the Scriptures. Such kind of faith would give us victory. In my life, many were the times when my husband was physically sick and walked through the valley of the darkness of death. At such times, my heart would be broken to pieces. I would struggle within myself not knowing to whom I could share my distresses. But, in those moments, is it not wise to place trust on the Lord and not on man? Accordingly, the Lord and I would get united in the spirit. Then I would pour out all the pleas of my heart at His presence. I would hold on to the promises of the Scriptures and plead to Him. At such times of afflictions, I often used to recollect the following verse, ‘…who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that Jesus Calls  October 2016  www.jesuscalls.org

we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed’ (I Peter 2:24). Sometimes, when my husband was admitted in the hospital, I used to claim this verse for him and beg and plead to the Lord. Soon the doctors would give me a good report about his physical condition and say, “Don’t worry about your husband. All of a sudden his condition has started improving; we are amazed”. Yes, this is the prayer that we need to do to have faith. This is how we should increase our faith in the Lord. Hence, the truth that ought to be known here is that the Word of God encourages us in the increase of faith and hope. For example, read the below given wonderful verse, ‘For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast’ (Psalm 33:9). You should believe this firmly. “Your Word says, ‘For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast’. But then, why did this thing happen to me?” – Such question may assail you. This is not an ordinary question. This is a question that crops out, because of your zealous devotion to God. This is how way should be paved to increase your faith. ‘But without faith it is impossible

to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him’ (Hebrews 11:6). According to the above verse, we need to believe that there is a God and that He would reward those who seek Him. This is how the men of God in the Bible received incredible victory from the Lord. My dear ones, you too should get up early in the morning and diligently read the Bible individually or as a family. There is no use if you read the Bible as a duty, for name sake. You need to have fear of God to read it diligently. Please change your life. When it was necessary for the Lord Jesus to arise early in the morning and seek His Father, how much more we should seek the Lord, following His example? So, every day, confess the shortcomings in your life in the presence of God and cry to Him saying, “Lord make me more like You”. Then the Lord would speak to you. After that you too can talk to Him. He spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend (Exodus 33:11). Look at Abraham! He, a human being spoke to God just as how he would speak to his friend. This was how the lives of those men of God in the Bible were. In that case, you must realize that this thing is possible for you too and start reading the Bible from today with reverence. The Lord will speak to you. Then your faith will increase. As your faith increases, there would be a great victory in everything in your life. This not a wonder! This is one of the richest blessings that the Lord gives for His children. May the Lord grant you this kind of faith, hope and gifts from above and bless you more and more!

God’s Miracles in the Family Blessing Meeting… Miraculous healing and change

hough I knew the Lord, I lived as if I had never known Him. I got married and had two daughters. My husband did not know the Lord. There were so many problems between me and my husband. He would never allow me to attend any prayer meetings. So I even thought of getting separated from him. At this time, I came to know about the Jesus Calls ministry through which I began to understand the Lord’s true love. I also received the anointing of the Holy Spirit. This anointing led me and guided me as to how to run my family. Also, the messages of Sis. Stella Dhinakaran for families – ‘How I should be? How to run the family?’ – etc., led me towards a proper family life. At this juncture my husband and daughter were affected by Dengue fever and had to be hospitalized. Doctors who tested my husband said that his condition was serious and that they could not give guarantee for his life. Not knowing what to do, I contacted the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower and the prayer warrior prayed fervently for him. What a wonder! He was miraculously healed, much to the doctors’ amazement. He came back home in good health. Gradually he began to have faith on the Lord. Particularly, he did not forbid me from attending prayer meetings and instead started requesting me to pray for him. Sorrow into joy

am doing my own business. My brother was working in Dubai. My mother and I are living in Chennai. Initially my business was doing well. My mother and I lived comfortably with the income from my business. Suddenly a great storm blew in our family and the business started declining because of the powers of witchcraft. As days went by, I faced heavy loss and my mother too became weak and was bedridden. She could not take any food. My brother, who was working abroad also, lost his job. We suffered without any money. Finally we decided to end our lives. At this time, through a person nearby, we came to know about Jesus and the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower. When I entered the Prayer Tower, I felt a divine peace. Also, as a family we attended the Family Blessing meeting which was going on there. That day, Sis. Clear eye sight

e have received so many miracles through the Jesus Calls ministry. My eye sight was not clear since a long time. Hence I could not see anything properly and suffered a lot. I did not know what to do. Doctors said that I needed to wear glasses or that I should go for surgery. I was scared. At this time, hearing about the special Blessing meeting for women, held in Vanagaram, I attended the same. I could not even read the bus number properly and reached there with great difficulty. Even in the meeting, I could not read the letters on the stage. That day, Sis. Stella Dhinakaran powerfully spoke the word of God and said, “Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion, For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!”. I firmly believed that the Lord would do a miracle since He was in our midst and joined her in the prayer saying, “Lord, I don’t want these affected eyes. Give me good eyes with clear sight”. Immediately Sis. Stella Dhinakaran said, “Lord! Give miraculous healing to those who have poor eye sight”. A bright light entered into me. I saw a dove coming upon me. I was working as a nurse in the Middle East. Though I knew the Lord, I had no connection with Him. The atmosphere in my work spot was not conducive for my spiritual growth. Not having any chance to get connected with others, I began to visit the Jesus Calls website. The messages, prayers and the Word of God given there, led me towards the Lord. I started knowing more and more about the Lord. After that, I held on to the Lord firmly. After this, I got to know a few friends and all of us started praying together.
