A company that recycles beauty products.

Our Story?

Many makeup lovers don’t hesitate to try new products and often enjoy good packaging. Many appreciate cruelty free products but not don’t thinking about recycling. Most products get tossed away in the trash. We want to encourage users to recycle their old expired makeup and we plan on making it as convenient as possible as well as connecting the user to more green and ecofriendly cosmetic lines.

WHERE WE OPERATE (LOCATION)

Rebeauty was designed to be easy on the go and can be taken with you anywhere as an app. We want to make sure that you know when your products expire and when you need to know abou twhat ingridients are in your products. you can fin us on iOs or android phones.

RESEARCH: TARGET AUDIENCE AND PERSONA

The audience is the cosmetic user ages 18-34. A majority of our cosmetic users will be located on the west or east coast, more specifically Los Angelos and New York.

They will most likely be ordering online or going in stores, mostly found at a mall or drug store. However, the best way to communicate with them is in person at the cosmetic locations or through a survey. Keep in mind that this audience has difference preferences to the type of brand they like as well as may or may not be involved in box subscriptions and public relations lists, which may cause more waste than buying in store.

Natasha Occasionally buys makeup at the drugstore to cover up any breakouts or hide dark under eyes. Sometimes if she’s feeling it, she’ll wear some lipstick and mascara. Spends her time reading and out volunteering. Lives in on the East Coast. Works as an environmentalist for a non profit organization.

Sandra A makeup fanatic, loves watching youtube tutorials. Often buys makeup in person and online, both drugstore and high end. Enjoys blogging and fashion. She’s on top of the lastest styles and outfits for specific occasions. Lives in Los Angeles, California and sees most of her favorite makeup artists and beauty gurus there. Works as a social media content creator.

Toby A drag queen. He enjoys the transformation with makeup.

Loves finding out about the latest eye shadow palettes out there for the color. Spends his time meeting other drags queens and shopping. Lives in the Midwest.

RESEARCH: MOOD BOARDS Natural tones reflect a visual ecofriendly branding. Simple and clean elements give the brand a more modern look and feel suggesting the same within ingredients and beliefs.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT Taking a photo of your makeup product gives information about the ingredients, expiration date and how to recycle the product. Rebeauty highlights all the harmful ingredients in the product. Not all products have the expiration date on them and if they do, we forget when it expires. That’s why Rebeauty has made it easy by sending you alerts when your product expires.

Rebeauty also is an all in one resource that connects you to multiple cosmetic lines that also believe in sustainability, recycling and non-toxic ingredients. Some brands are LUSH cosmetics, Follain cosmetics, and Zao Organic Makeup.

Lastly, where can you recycle your makeup products? Recycling differs in every location. Turn to our partnership with Terrascycle who specializes in recycling cosmetic packaging.

Just place your products in a box and ship it to Terracycle.

DESIGN ELEMENT 1

Linear elements are encouraged to use when appropriate.

A medium band and thick band is often recommended instead of a thin one.

Rounded corners must be used when changing directions to stay consistent with our organic branding.

With the organic shape of the leaf utilized in the logo as well as being used in the full logo, a circle element can be used as a clipping mask for photos.

Circles can also be used an additional element to enhance a design.
