My Thoughts

Through this assignment, we had the opportunity to explore three main topics: the Architects Act, Contract & Management, and UBBL. Each of these topics has its own subtopics, and our group chose to focus on Forms of Practice, which falls under the Architects Act. During this exploration, I gained an understanding of the three primary forms of practice in the interior design and architecture field in Malaysia: sole proprietorship, partnership, and body corporate. I also learned about the various rules and regulations associated with each form of practice, as they each have their own specific requirements. Additionally, I discovered that each practice operates under a different business model. In our assignment, my group also delved into the potential outcomes of future practices for interior design and architecture firms. We discussed the incorporation of modern practices into our organizational culture, ecosystem, and working environment.
