The second layer portrays our natural landscapes. The holes of the netted wire allow me to use a sculpting method inspired by the hand-tufted rug-making and tapestry weaving techniques. fabric scraps

LAYER 3:

Burry fabric in soil. Study the effects of decomposed fabrics stiffened fabrics create form with the fabric by using fabric stiffeners and cement. wire will also be used to create bigger structure and dimension mixture of dirty fabrics and stiffened fabrics to create the bottom layer. The fabrics will be sculpted. hardened fabric comment on how long it takes for synthetic fibres to decompose. Fabrics sit in the grounds for many years before it disappears
