This loyalty card is made for Atelier CRIM____SON’s loyal customers and frequent buyers.

Made with the abstraction of the constellation ‘Lepus’ in mind, the digital stamps are designed to be out of the box: instead of a traditional, usual logo stamp, it takes the form of a circular text. Type

01.2 Angpao

Angpao or Hongbao is a type of red packet often seen in Lunar New Year. This is an angpao design used for Lunar New Year’s ‘CRIMSON GIVING BACK’ event where Atelier CRIM___SON gave back to the community, symbolized with an ‘angpao’.

Atelier CRIM____SON

A modernized twist is seen with the color usage: not red, but maroon.

Distorted and blurred black-and-white visual effects are used to represent Indonesia’s old films where televisions were still traditional and limited.

For the online design inquiries, Atelier CRIM____SON provides a huge variety of designs; mainly made with a classy nod to give digital design a sense of elevation, bringing it to the next level.

02 Parahyangan Visual Seni

With ‘Gambar Idoep’ as the theme of the event, Parahyangan Visual Seni talked about the early pages of Indonesia’s movie industry. The orange accent, a repetitive element, is used to represent UNPAR.

Distorted and blurred black-and-white visual effects are used to represent Indonesia’s old films where televisions were still traditional and limited.

03 RRRamadan Hampers

For 2020’s Ramadan, Aaksen shared a bunch of hampers to treasured friends and clients. This card is attached to wish them a blessed, RRROARING month. Designed with RRROAR’s bold red and Ramadan’s nostalgic green. Distorted and blurred black-and-white visual effects are used to represent Indonesia’s old films where televisions were still traditional and limited.

The inner part was printed out on translucent paper to give off overlay effect.

Chapter 2: Editorial

This project was created for Kommunars’ first submission test. Inspired by the worries and the thoughts of a first-year architecture student: a crisis about whether this industry will sustain them or not, a loop of what-ifs, and the search of where one’s heart lands.

This design concept was chosen to give a nod to the typical “architectural” design: as rough as possible, printed on concorde paper with yellow paper cellotape as the binding to give off an unfinished, distraught vibe.

Contour-shaped background to emphasis the architecture theme. Scattered, sometimes shaky, yet completed with a thematic and structured typography. Expresses a jumbled thought process and the pressure. Neutral ‘construction’ colors; cool-toned.

02 Architecture Presentation Panels

A compilation of all editorial architecture presentation panels done for various projects, respectively Harmonious Space (Architecture Design Studio 4), Sayana House (Final Architecture Studio), and Children’s House (Kaira Looro) with Octavius Glenn and Audrey Graziella.

Narrating Space: Soundscape

This is an assignment under Media + Architecture class with “Narrating Space” as the theme.

Architectural spaces have always been narrated in a visual and linguistical way, but rarely acoustical. Soundscape is a concept that narrates sequences in architecture in an acoustical way, that is often overlooked.

04 Mencuri Raden Saleh

Mock-up Book

A fan-made mock-up for Mencuri Raden Saleh’s concept book. May include the movie script, character backstory, and unreleased scenes.

Designed with a minimalistic take and with the painting, Penangkapan Pangeran Diponegoro, as the spotlight of the design.

Chapter 3: Social Media

project3_final_update.psd is a social media passion project on Instagram. It is made as a digital archiving attempt to compile all the works done between 2014 - now.

02 Orphic Instagram Feeds

Orphic is an online escape room concept by Ultimate Organizer. Having both horror and thriller theme, this is the Instagram feeds.

03 Makelu Instagram Feeds

Makelu, or Malam Keluarga UNPAR, is an annual event done by BEM UNPAR. This is the connected Instagram feeds for Makelu: Palapa Project.

The usage of Indonesian elements, mainly “candi” silhouettes on the background, is used to represent the locality values of Palapa Project.

01 Mahligai Rama-rama

An abstraction of Chrisye’s Zamrud Khatulistiwa. Mahligai is the place where kings and queens reside in a castle; rama-rama means butterfly.

Mahligai Rama-rama means a castle where butterflies reside: a metaphor about Indonesia’s beauty in diversity.

03 Diorama

04 Daftar Pencarian Orang

This is a fanmade poster of Mencuri Raden Saleh the movie. The main theme of the poster is derived from the movie genre, heist, and the main plot.

05 Ditto

This is a fanmade poster inspired by Newjeans’ Ditto. To pay homage to the band’s album art and theme, the poster comes in three colors.

Chapter 6: Environmental Graphic Design

05 Children’s House

This is a project made for Kaira Looro architecture competition with Octavius Glenn and Audrey Graziella. Children’s House is expected to be a safe space for Senegal children, while working as an emergency medical station to overcome multiple problems, including malnutrition.
