Candidates are seated by Candidate Number and enter the exam hall in this order.
No sign language or communication in any form
Do not assist other students to find their desk
No food allowed in the exam hall
Full school uniform must be worn, and hair and jewellery rules still apply

Do not tamper with your calculators after they are set to exam mode. Make sure the battery is charged/new. No calculator covers allowed in exam room

Make sure your name and your teachers name is on any additional answer sheets you use
During the exam
Working Out
Draw a SINGLE line through anything that is not to be marked (working out, draft work, etc.)

During the exam - clocks
There will be a visible clock at the front of the room.
The time on that clock is the time you will follow.
Invigilators are not allowed to tell you how much time you have left so do not ask, they can only tell you what time the exam will end.
Invigilators will tell you when there is 5 minutes of time remaining.

During the exam - bathrooms
Make sure you go to the bathroom before the exam
Put up your hand to call the invigilator
Working Out
You will be escorted to the nearest bathroom
Only one student can go to the bathroom at a time
Bathrooms are checked
Bathroom breaks are monitored and recorded as they are disruptive to the room.
During the exam - fire alarm
Invigilators will give you instructions
Stop writing immediately
Working Out
Turn paper over and leave on your desk
Exam conditions continue to apply
Remain silent at all times
Use nearest Emergency Exit
Stand in line on the field (silent at all times)

Communication amongst students may compromise your exam paper!
During the exam - lockdown
Stop writing immediately
Follow instructions from invigilators
Lock all doors
Turn off lights
Move to an area out of sight
Remain silent
When you do not have an exam in a scheduled session
kSupervised revision sessions will be taking place in classrooms as per your learning timetable.
You must bring your own revision resources.

Departure in exams
You cannot leave the exam room in the first hour, or in the last 15 minutes. You are under exam conditions until you leave the exam room. Candidates will be released by invigilators. Remain silent until outside exam room.
