Tonia’s Story
onia M. Jeffers was born on November 8, 1957, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Robert “Bobby” Dillard and Charity Jeffers in Memphis, Tennessee.
On November 8, 1957, God called Tonia’s name, and she answered present, and he sent her on her journey. Sometime in the early 70’s he called her name again, this time she answered here. I am, and she was baptized and became born as a Christian. On Friday, October 21, 2016, somewhere around 11:45 he called her name, this time no answer here on earth, but she did answer to the father, son, and holy spirit, she answered, and he replied, well done my child, well done.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons; D’Artagan Jeffers and Damien Wynn, her mother Charity Jeffers, two sisters, Chana SpencerTipper, and Paula Dillard, and one brother, Andre Dillard (Tamala) all of Memphis, Tennessee, five grandchildren, a special friend, Fred Jones, Jr., her lifetime friend, Corwin Grose and her chosen sister, Chiquita Luellen-Green, along with one niece, two nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
