December 25, 1951, to the late Emmitt Marable of Whiteville, TN, and the late Rubie Vaught Marable of Memphis, TN. Siblings, Clifford (Harriette) Marable, Lorraine (Clarence) Davis, and Eugene (Gail) Marable preceded her in death.

Sara departed this life on October 26, 2019, at 2:00 pm with her children surrounding her. She leaves to cherish her memory and carry her legacy her son Eric (Taesh) Marable of Birmingham, Alabama, daughters Karen Marable, Karmen Marable, and Brandy Hill of Memphis, TN. One brother Narvell (Deloris) Marable Sr. of Memphis, TN.

If you came in contact with “Ms.Sara,” as she was affectionately called, you were considered family because she never met a stranger. She had a smile that would light up a room and welcomed you with a hug. Friends and family always knew, you never would leave Ms. Sara’s without a full belly, a smile on your face and thoughts of, “When are we going to do this again!!??” From BBQs, fish fries, yard parties, or something she just cooked, young or old, you would never be turned away. Ole Ms. Sara was truly one of a kind.
