Sallie’s three roses were planted, cultivated, nurtured and loved from girls to women.
Thank you for instilling faith in God,strength,dignity, and respect for others.
For our seventy plus years your three roses had you to guide them, but sometimes we did it our way.
It breaks our hearts to lose you but you didn’t go alone for part of us went with you the day God called you home .

The family of Mother Sallie Elnora Edingtion sincerely thank you for all you have done. We will always cherish the cards, phone calls, and food. Our family has come this far by faith and by the grace of God; we will continue to make it in Jesus name. Webster tells us the “Thanks” is an expression of gratitude, and this is what we have in our heart today for all you have done to make this time in our lives bearable.

Elnora Patterson was born August 22, 1927, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Patterson in Woodstock, Tennessee. She departed this life on Sunday, February 23, 2020. She confessed her belief in Christ at an early age and joined Belmont Baptist Church.
She loved her church, Mt. Austin Missionary Baptist Church above any activity in the world. Mrs. Edington loved spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Edington was known for her fine dressing, she lived a full and prosperous life.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Willie D. Edington, Sr. of 73 years, her daughters; Mabelene (Jesse) Dimmer, Margaret (George) Warren, Mary (Thomas) Parham, and one son who preceded her in death; Willie D. Edington, Jr., three brothers; Jim, Robert, and Dave Patterson She also leaves three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, and special spiritual sons; Joe (Dorothy) Dupree and Fred (Barbara) Elder, and a host of relatives and friends.
