As I see my body getting weak, There was sunshine in my eyes.
My heart beat for 95 years.
God has been so wonderful and good to me.
As I collapse into the arms of my loved one, I saw the glory gates of heaven.
My mother, father, sisters, and brothers are waiting for me.
Your time has come my child to be with your family.
We all are here now resting with the Lord.
I love my family that I left behind. May God be with you all.
You have my memories.

“There’s No
Reflections of Life
Mrs. Rebecca Johnson Robinson (Auntie) was born on July 8, 1922, in Vaiden, Mississippi to the late John Albert & Eliza Ann Johnson.
She was a lifetime member of Midway United Methodist Church in Vaiden until her move to Memphis, Tennessee where she joined the Collins Chapel C.M.E. Church family.
Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Lucious Robinson, her siblings: Ella Tidwell, Robert Blakes, Bennie Mae Williams, Mattie Johnson Key, Bernice Johnson Bowen, and Walter Albert Johnson.
She is survived by one brother, Robert Brown, twenty-four nieces and nephews; as well as an infinite number of great nieces and nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
Although she had no biological children, she served as a second mother to many, including her niece, Beatrice Bowen, and great-nephews, Victor and Vincent Bowen.
Auntie was loved and respected by many and will be greatly missed. She loved life and lived it to the fullest and encouraged each of us to do the same.
