Tove to
FOR ALL FAMILY AND FRIENDS,
Please don’t say that I gave up, Just say that I gave in.
Don’t say I lost the battle, for it was God’s war to lose or win. Please don’t say how good I was,but that I did my best.
Just say I tried to do what was right, To give the most, I could-not less. Please don’t give me wings or halos, that’s for God to do I want no more than I deserve, no extras, just my due.
Please don’t give me flowers or talk in real hushed tones. Don’t be too concerned about me now, I’m well with God; I’ve made it home. Don’t talk about what could have been, it’s over and it’s done.
Just see to all of my family’s needs, especially the little ones. When you draw a picture of me, don’t draw me as a saint, I’ve done some good, done some wrong. So, use all your paint.
Not just the bright and light tones, Use some gray and dark. In fact don’t put me down on canvas, Paint me in your heart.
Don’t just remember good times, but remember all the bad, For life is full of many things, some happy and some sad. But if you must do something, then I have one request, Forgive me for the wrongs I’ve done, and with the love that’s left.
Thank God for my soul is resting. Thank God for I’ve been blessed.
Thank God for all who loved me, Praise God who loves me best!
Good-bye Family

Life’s Reflections
Patricia Arlene Kennedy, a profoundly loved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on December 28, 1966,
Patricia had a spirit that was truly one of a kind.
Patricia was an exceptional, loving, and caring woman who enriched the lives of everyone she met. She had a memorable and lively personality, and those who loved her knew her unique way of “talking her talk” always came from a place of pure heart and no harm. She cherished time spent with her beloved friends and family and was a fiercely loyal fan of her beloved Dallas Cowboys. Her laughter, warmth, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed.
She leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory forever: her two sons, Michael Thacker and Terry Booker; and her two daughters, Latoya Perkins and Temika Booker. Patricia’s legacy lives on through her many cherished grandchildren: Julissia Perkins, Jayla Booker, Justin Perkins, Jerricka Booker, Deshawn Booker, Santana Booker, Michael Thacker Jr., Amiria Thacker, Kamaria Alexander, Malaki Thacker, Jamarion Perkins, and Justina Perkins. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Jacobe Christley and Ares Christley.
Patricia will be truly and forever missed by so many.
Memories
Three Mintues Please) Jerricka Booker - Granddaughter Family & Friends
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
