To My Mom In Heaven

We thought of you today but that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday and days before that too. We think of you in silence, we often speak your name. All we have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake from which we will never part. God has you in His arms, we have you in our heart.

We love you, your children LaShunda & Vincent

If Roses Grow In Heaven

Lord, please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mother’s arms and tell her they’re from me.

Tell her that I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, but there’s an ache within my heart that will never go away.

ReflectionsLife’s Reflections

Patricia Ann Jones was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, neighbor, and friend. On August 21, 1949, she was born to the late Rayfield and Tomella Dunlap in Memphis, Tennessee.

She was a faithful and dedicated worker with the Memphis City Schools for 30 years. She was a cafeteria manager at Colonial Middle School and Avon Elementary.

She was a Diehard Dallas Cowboy’s Fan and loved spending the weekend watching the football games with her family.

On Friday, November 5, 2021, God called one of his angels, Patricia Jones, home after 72 years of faithful services. Loved ones that preceded her in death; her father, Rayfield Dunlap, mother, Tomella Dunlap, brothers, Alvin Ray Dunlap and Rickie Lavon Dunlap.

Patricia leaves to cherish her loving memory two children, Vincent LaKeith Dunlap and LaShunda Rae Jones-Holman, a son-in-law, Tony Holman, daughter-in-law, Kelly Dunlap, one sister, Jelene Boyce (Anthony), and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She will be truly missed by all.
