Life’s Reflections
Pamela Denay Fason was born June 30, 1958, to the late Y.C. Alexander Jr. and Ella Mae Watkins.
She confessed her love for Christ at an early age at New Shiloh Baptist Church on Maywood. She was a proud alumnus of Melrose High School and Lemoyne Owen College.
She was united in holy matrimony to the late Maurice Fason on February 17, 1977.
She departed this life on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Willie B. Fason Sr., and her mother-inlaw, Eula Fason.
She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memories: One son, Vincent Fason of Auburn, WA; one daughter, Angela Fason of Memphis, TN; one brother, Michael (Pressess) Alexander; one sister, Kimberly (Jackie) Wilson; all of Memphis, TN; three brothers-in-law: Willie B. (Cathy) Fason Jr; Randy (Tracy) Fason; and Steven (Rhonda) Fason, all of Memphis; four sisters-in-law: Jan (Charles preceded in death) Woods; Jewel Fason (Enrique) Plunkett; Ora Fason; and Aretha Fason, all of Memphis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Gwynn (Audrey) Fason and Johnny (Rose) Fason.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
