Mr. Michael Charles Shotwell was born on March 7, 1944, in Eads, TN to the late Mr. Paul & Liza Shotwell. He was the seventh child of eight children.

Michael accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Sampson Townsend.

Michael graduated from Mt. Pisgah High School; class of 1962. He was crowned Homecoming King during his senior year. After high school, Michael was employed with Sears & Roebuck as a delivery technician. He retired from the company March 16, 1996.

While employed with Sears & Roebuck he started his own installation company titled MC Shotwell Installation. He continued to service the community up until March 2, 2018.

Michael was an active member and treasurer of the Coachmen Club organization and donated to many of the causes and needs of the community.

Family was very important to Michael; he departed this life on March 17, 2018, surrounded by those he loved. He was proceeded in death by two brothers Paul Shotwell Jr. & Willie Shotwell and two sisters Litha Mae Fields & Rubystine Allen.

He leaves to carry on his legacy his sons: David L. Golding (Earlene), Michael T. Shotwell, Brandon C. Shotwell and Mario Maxwell. His daughters: Alicia Shotwell-Richmond, Narquala Shotwell-Perry, Beverly L. Finley and Erica D. Shotwell; six grandchildren: Tremaine Allen, Tevin McInnis, Javian Tunstall, Jahmel Perry, Madison Finley, Rosielee Newman. His siblings: Nettie Jean Allen, Clevorn Allen and Estelle Shotwell; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives & friends. _______________________________________________________________________________________ “Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. ~The Living Memorial ~

A Tree will be planted in a National Forest as a Living Memorial to Michael Charles Shotwell. This service is offered by Harrison’s Memorial Chapel, Inc. through Batesville Casket Company, the United States Forest Service and Ontario Canada’s Grand Valley Conservation Foundation.
