“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed.”

Revelations 21:4

Mack was born on September 4, 2000, to LaKia McCollough and Mack Conner III in Greenville, MS. After graduating with honors from GRAD Academy High in 2018, Mack decided he wanted to pursue a career in industrial maintenance at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology. Shortly after completion of the program, he decided to further his education by attending the University of Memphis to study psychology.

During his time at The University of Memphis, Mack was also employed at Chuck E Cheese part-time as a cast member. He absolutely loved basketball, shoes, and his family and friends. He was an immensely bright, outgoing, and soft-hearted individual who did his best to help others throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Amaya Conner, and paternal grandparent, Mack Conner, Jr.

Mack leaves to cherish his memories his mother, LaKia McCollough, his father, Mack Conner III, his brothers, LaKeitron Conner, Tanarion Conner, Makell Conner, and Marchello Moore, Jr., maternal grandparents Willie H. Watson (Oscar) and Lewis McCollough (Erma), paternal grandparents Shirley Williams (Willie), and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Anyone who knew Mack knew that he was a special soul. He had an immense passion for life and was always a positive source in whatever group he was in. His family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

In Loving Memory of a Special Son

The day you left and gained your wings my heart just broke in two I wish you could have stayed with me, But Heaven needed you

You left me with the memories And I love you dearly still No matter how much time goes by You know I always will

You were a very special person With kindness in your heart And the love we had together Grows stronger now we’re apart

I know I cannot bring you back Although I wish it every day But a piece of me went with you The day you went away Love, Mom

CMemories

“My Big, Little Cousin”

I’ve always called you little, big cuz because you were my little cousin, but was taller than me

And you looked up to me

And I looked up to you

But you just don’t know I looked up to you

Because you were so smart

And innocent, kind-hearted, and everyone loved you.

We kept in touch mostly on FB not much through phone

And today I went through some of your messages

And saw that I always sent some crazy stuff to your inbox, I couldn’t help but to laugh.

The fact that you’re gone now, and I’m still here, Hurts more than you can imagine.

I’m still in disbelief.

I didn’t realize how much impact you had on my life until you left. And sometimes we’d get distant,

Because you were living your life, and I was living mine

But we eventually ended up having to say something to each other

One way or another.

I just hope you know we all loved you very much

And you brought our family back together again.

I hope you can hear me and know that I’m speaking from my heart

We miss you, and we love you Mack.

Rest in peace until we meet again.

THE BROKEN CHAIN

We didn’t know that morning God was going to call your name... In life, we loved you dearly, In death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, You are always by our side.

Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same... But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.

From, The First Cousins

...Until We Meet Again

Those special memories of you will always bring a smile if only I could have you back for just a little while Then we could sit and talk again just like we used to do you always meant so very much and always will do too

The fact that you’re no longer here will always cause me pain but you’re forever in my heart until we meet again...

Love, Dad
