LaToya YvetteCathey was born on March 20, 1974 in Memphis, Tennessee to the mother of late Nancy Cathey and farther late John Taylor. LaToya attended Manassas High School up to the 12th grade, but dropped out mid year. She later received her GED.
LaToya leaves behind to cherish her memories three sisters; Syretta Clayton, Latrice Clark, Brianna Taylor, three brothers; Thurman Cathey, Bumma Taylor, and Kevin Cathey, two daughters; Brittany Rice and Alexia Hall, one son-in-law; Michael Rice Jr., one God-son; Jordan Harris and one grandson; Michael Rice III and a host of aunts, cousins, family and friends.

Don’t cry my loved ones, smile and remember the pretty balloons I used to get you
Don’t cry my loved ones, smile and remember your drawings I use to hang on the wall and adore
Don’t cry my loved ones, smile and remember the warm hugs I use to give you
Don’t cry my loved ones, smile and remember when I will get you on the weekends
Don’t cry my loved ones, smile and remember our Sunday dinners we used to have remembering all the good times we all had .
