Rest Well, The Love of My Life Love Ty

LTributes oving

Dear Mama,

If tears could be a stairway and memories were a lane We would walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again

No Farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye You were gone before we knew it and only God knows why

Our hearts still ache in sadness and the tears still flow What it meant to lose you, no one will ever know

But now we know you want us to mourn for you no more To remember all the happy times life still has in store

Since you’ll never be forgotten we pledge to you today That missing piece from our heart is where you’ll always stay

Love Eternally,

~Your oldest daughter Kesha and only son Ronnie

Every time We smile,(Or do duck lips) Every time We sigh, We think of your face, And a tear escapes our eyes.

You were our world, Our inspiration and our heart, But when you left us, We totally fell apart.

You were our best friend, Our one true confidant, And that’s not all you were, You were also our mom.

We didn’t want to live without you, But you would have wanted us to, And if there’s anyone We want to make happy, That anyone is you.

We would give anything to have you back, But We know now that it was meant to be, We appreciate the good times you’ve shown us, So we’ll forever cherish the memories.

We’ll make you proud Mom, We’ll fulfill your wish, You’re going to see us smile Mom, That’s a Our promise.

~Jazmyne & Phillip

Having a sister means you never have to walk alone Whatever path we walked, you followed along

We walked together down many paths

Along the way we played, fought, cried and laughed

We lost mom so suddenly and abrubt But you were the stand in to take care of us

You stepped in whenever needed, no questions asked Never complaining, just completing the task

You lived life to the fullest with a smile that inspired And your giving heart we always admired

Even during the occasional fight and fuss We never questioned your love for us

From the void that’s created we wish we could wake But we know that God makes no mistakes

Only you and God know your pain that you endured You’re resting peacefully now, so pain no more

While you’re away say hi to mother She’s now reclaimed her first born daughter

We’re going to miss you abundantly And the love we have for you will last to eternity

Love Always,

Lil Sis Tanya and Lil Bro Kelvin

Dear Glamma, We love you and we miss you.

Katrena

Rena Cooper, 49 of Memphis, Tennessee, was born to Charlie Wesley Cooper and Mae Francis Pearson on March 3, 1969. God called her to go home and she answered on January 11, 2019.

She accepted Christ at an early age at Early Grove Baptist Church. She rededicated her life to Christ at Greater New Liberty Baptist Church. She continued her faithful walk with Christ at Brown Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Central “The” High School (Class of 1987) where she was involved in many social and athletic organizations. She attended Shelby State Community College and Draughons Junior College where she received her Associates Degree as a Nursing Assistant.

Also known as “Hurrikane Katrena”, she met and bonded with many co-workers and friends. The bulk of her work history was dedicated to being a floor supervisor and dealer in the Gaming industry. She started her career at The Grand Casino, followed by Harrah’s Casino, and finally Resorts Casino Tunica. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grand-diva Kamiyah and little princess Nevaeh. She was a very generous person who touched the lives of many people as she loved to help others at any time with anything. She had a huge infectious smile that lit up the room and she loved to take photos, especially with the duck lip pose. She was extremely smart and very creative. She was a restaurant connoisseur and enjoyed eating out at many places. She loved shopping and one of her favorite brands was Michael Kors(MK) better known to her as Ms. Katrena. She was the life of the party and would have you rolling on the floor laughing with her blunt and sassy humor.

She was fortunate enough to find true love with her fiance Tyrone Townes. They were together close to 20 years and they enjoyed fine dining, traveling to various places, and spending time with their family. Together they had five children (Kesha, Ronnie, Jaz, Lil Ty, and Te Te).
