Life’s Reflections
Mr. Frank Lee King, was born on January 26, 1948, to the late Ms. Katherine King and Mr. Leroy Brown. He departed this life on June 16, 2025, at Baptist University Hospital.
Frank was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, and moved to Memphis, Tennessee, later in life.
He was well known and respected by many. He worked for the City of Memphis for 15 years and the City of Germantown for 6 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Matry Johnson of Memphis, TN, nine daughters: LaDale Mize, Jacqueline Thomas, Windy Thomas, Tammy King-Foster, LaShaun White, Victoria McKinley, Arita Rias, Frances King, all of Memphis, TN, and Shannon Jones of Dallas, TX. He also leaves two sisters, Ophelia King and Delois Lucas, both of Memphis, TN. He will be missed by twenty-two grandchildren and forty great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
