Life’s Reflections

Mr. Frank Campbell Sr. was born on September 4, 1934, in DeSoto County, Mississippi, to the late Mr. M.K. Campbell of Jackson, Mississippi, and the late Mrs. Rosie Dell Perry Campbell of West Helena, Arkansas. He lived a life rooted in faith, family, and quiet strength.

At an early age, he confessed a hope in Christ and was baptized at New Sardis Baptist Church, where he remained a lifelong member. He faithfully and proudly served as an Usher for many years, greeting others with kindness and taking pride in serving the house of the Lord, remaining steadfast in his service until his health failed.

A hardworking and dependable man, Mr. Campbell dedicated 39 years of service to Don’s Upholstery, Inc., retiring in March 2025. He was known as someone who showed up, did his work well, and remained loyal throughout the years.

He also enjoyed football and was a proud Pittsburgh Steelers super fan-faithfully cheering them on every season, win or lose.

On December 24, 2025, surrounded by love and covered by grace, Mr. Frank Campbell Sr. transitioned from labor to reward.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved son, Frank Campbell Jr.; and his siblings: Ophelia Campbell, Lilly Campbell, Rose (Sain) Campbell, Mary Louise Campbell Green, Wallace “Uncle Buddy” Campbell, M.A.Campbell, Commodore Campbell, and Obi Die Campbell.

He leaves cherished memories with his devoted sister, Eva Campbell Brown; his children: America Campbell Peacock, Rev. Ronald Campbell (Queen Campbell), Rev. Frank Campbell Jr., and Danny Campbell; his grandchildren: Lakristy Rook, Keshia Rook, Kristina Archibald, Karla Gaddy, Latonya Prentiss-Johnson, Destiny Campbell, Raven Campbell, and Marquez Pierce; along with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Frank’s life was one of consistency, faith, and love. While he will be deeply missed, his legacy will continue through the lives he touched.

Recessional

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Psalms 23
