Fannie Mae Gadison was known by everyone as “Mae”. She was born on March 4, 1965, to the late Gordie B. Gadison and Ezekiel Bank. Fannie’s sunset on March 4, 2020, at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She was loved by many but, most of all, by her family, her loving husband, and her children.
Fannie was a kind, loving, and lively person; she always kept a smile on her face even when she was sick. Some of her past times were filled with listening to gospel music, cooking, and maintaining a clean house; if any part of the house was dirty, we all had problems. Most of all, she loved shopping on Amazon. She always found something to buy.
Anyone who met her was blessed and stamped with kindness by her genuine, loving, and kind heart.
Fannie Mae’s preceded in death by her parents, Gordie Stokes and Ezekiel Bank; bothers, George “Puffy”Stokes and Nelson Gadison, Jr.
Her loving memories will be cherished by her husband; Kinney Williams of Memphis, TN., her five children; Anthony (Ashley) Gadison of Greenville, MS, Larry (Arnecia) Harris of Memphis, TN, Latoya (Kris) Gadison Carter of Decatur, GA, Kenny (Tia) Williams of Beebe, Arkansas, and Lakarlo Gadison of Memphis, TN. One goddaughter, Dominique Cleaves of Memphis, TN, four sisters; Cora (June) Glenn of Pascagoula, MS, Lillie (Terry) Martin of Greenville, MS, Brenda Butler of Dallas, TX, Mattie (Larry) Williams, one brother, Frank Gadison. Special thanks to her caregiver, Betty Gant. Fannie also leaves to cherish her memory, twenty one grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
