Our Angel

An Angel lived among us, A gift from God above. She showered us with kindness And shared with us her love. She cherished every moment With the man who was her life; Walking hand in hand together, Facing life with all it’s strife. She loved her children dearly, Each one a different way, Nestled close within her heart. Though, now, she’s far away. She gone to live with Jesus. But, she’s here with us, today, Smiling down on every one of us And telling us, She’s OK

“A Dear Mother”

Mother, your love is so sweet and so true

We give these thoughts to say, “We Love You Too.” Mother, you’ve stuck by us through thick and thin, with a mother like you, we’ll always win Down through the years, we’ve stumbled and fell Mother, you were always there, wishing us well Out of all the things for you, we may do, The debt we owe will always be to you We know we’re saved because of God’s Amazing Grace It was also our home training that kept us in Place. Mother, you have done more than your best If it were possible, we’d give you pure happiness Mother, you will always be honored, whether near or far, You’re the Lady of our lives and our shining star Mother, we never worry about you letting us down You told us Jesus will keep us on solid ground. We’ve said all this, and yet we can go further, You’re three times a Lady and A Dear Mother!

Poem of Life

Life is but a stopping place, A pause in what’s to be, A resting place along the road, To sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, Different paths along the way, We all were meant to learn some things, But never meant to stay...

Our destination is a place Far greater than we know.

For some the journey’s quicker, For some the journey’s slow.

And when the journey finally ends, We’ll claim a great reward, And find an everlasting peace, Together with the lord. Rest now my Lizabeth for your work on earth is done, and I will always hold you in heart, since I can no longer hold you in my arms. I miss you already big sis, it feels like forever each day, but I take great joy in knowing that we’ll meet in Heaven again one day. For earth is not our home, we’re all just passing by, so get your house in order, if you want to rest in the sweet by & by…

For My Sister Words Cannot Say

A sister always there for you Right from an early start

A sisters love is unconditional and comes straight from the heart

A sister is someone who loves you No fight or argument can keep her away She will be your rock and support besides you a part of you that is here to stay

A sister is always there for you through laughter, tears and smiles the support a sister gives you will carry you for miles

So compassionate and understanding through all life’s ups and downs She will advise you with compassion and rebuke you without the frown

I am so glad I have a sister Like you as part of my life because without knowing that you are there my world would be filled with strife

We share something so specila Each and every day

A feeling in our souls Words alone simply cannot say

Life’s Reflections

Mrs. Elizabeth Richmond was born to Emitt Lee Taylor and Daisy Lee Williams.

Elizabeth loved her family and friends. She was a mother to many of our friends, and she loved cooking and baking.

Liz was preceded in death by her parents, Emmitt Taylor, Jessie Smith, Daisy Williams Smith, Lizzie Taylor, and sister Maria Smith.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, LaNorris Richmond, Sr., and her daughter Shameka (Jarvis) Coleman, and three sons, Ronnie Stewart, Jr., Jeromy Richmond, and LaNorris (Shalisa) Richmond, Jr. She also leaves behind a large extended family, including seven sisters, Janice (T.L.) Cox, Alicia Rochelle Anderson, Rosalyn Taylor, Michelle Taylor, Angela Smith, Princess Smith, and Whitney Smith, and seven brothers, Johny (Vickie) Taylor, Emilte Taylor, Ronald Smith, Donald Smith, Philanders (Andrea) Smith, Robert (Sandra) Smith and Errick Smith. Her memory will be cherished by her sixteen grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends who will miss her tremendously.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
