He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shanice Moore; sisters, Flora M. Lampton and Barbara J. Banks; niece, Ladonnis L. Cathey; and nephews, Robert “Mainey” Jones Jr. and Brian D. Moore Sr. Eli leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Latonya Moore; sons, Eli Moore III, Starvareous Bowen, and Theo Driver; daughters, Sharrion “Lisa” Robinson, Alanda Moore, and Tacareia States; sister, Irma Love, grandchildren, Shantrell Robinson, Camellia Moore, Calise Williams, Eliyah Moore, Quiandra Moore, and Eli C. Moore IV; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Eli’s life will be remembered for his faith, dedication, and the love he shared with his family and all who knew him.

“When Tomorrow Starts Without Me” If tomorrow starts without me, and I’m not there to see, If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn’t cry the way you did today, while thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say. I know how much you care for me, and how much I care for you, and each time that you think of me I know you’ll miss me too; But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand, and said my place was ready in heaven far above, and that I’d have to leave behind all those I dearly love. But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye, for all life, I’d always thought I didn’t want to die. I had so much to live for and so much yet to do. it seemed almost impossible that I was leaving you. I thought of all the love we shared and all the fun we had. If I could relive yesterday, I thought, just for a while, I’d say goodbye and hug you and maybe see you smile.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Psalms 23

In Loving Memory of my Wonderful Husband Of all the special gifts in life however great or small, to have you as my Husband was the greatest gift of all. May the winds of love blow softly and whisper in your ear “We love and miss you and wish that you were here” Deep in our hearts, your life is kept to love and cherish, not forget. No more tomorrow’s we can share but yesterdays are always there. A silent thought, a secert tear keeps your memory ever near in our hearts forever. Love You Forever, Your Loving Wife Latonya

Special Tributes “Until We Talk Again, Dad” Dad, there are so many things I wish I could say , so many words I wish I had one more chance to share with you today . I’ll always remember the conversations we had, especially the ones about sports . We could talk about the games, the players, who was winning, who was losing, for hours at a time. Those talks may have seemed like ordinary moments, but now I know they were precious gifts.I would give anything to talk sports with you one more time .I hope you know I loved you. I hope you know how grateful I am that God gave me you as my father. The conversations may have ended , and I can no longer pick up the phone and hear you say “what’s going on?”, but your voice will live in my memories .Your love will live in my heart,So this isnt goodbye forever,Dad.Its just goodbye for now. -I love you -I miss You,and i will carry you with me until we talk again Eli Moore III (Son) I miss you more than ever… Your guidance and your love ,but I know your still watching silently from above. Though your chair sits empty, your presence remains, in every memory.A father’s love is like an endless chain ,binding hearts , despite the pain.So Dad as I pay this visit to your resting place today.I’d like to thank you for the caring that I never could repay. Lisa Robinson The Year’s You Gave Me, Eli You came into my life when I was just 5 years old an somehow through your love, you taught me what it meant to feel safe, protected, and feel like im enough. You weren’t only there foe the easy days you stayed through every storm: the scrapped knees, the missing tooths,an the belly aches. You watched me learn how to ride a bike to finally going off to college .You were there through all lifes toughest lessons that helkped shaped me to the young woman i am today.I may not have always shown or said it but I love you an appreciate everything you did.Now that you have you have went to your new home the world feels differently the memories we made ill hold near my heart forever. You were my step dad by title but you became so much more you were my bestfriend and dad. -Tacareia States (Step Daughter) Granddad, We pray that you are sleeping peacefully. There is no one who could replace you and the joy you brought to us every day. We love you and miss you. -Camellia Moore Calise Williams Grandad slipped away quietly one day.Now we gather here and quietly shed a tear, but grandad’s not truly gone because his memories live on.Forever re membered, forever loved,a grandfather whose heart now rests above. In our memories your spirit thrives, and you were very important to my life. Shantrell Robinson Goodbye to my Brother I didn’t think you would be leaving this earth so soon . I wish I had the chance to say goodbye, but you were gone before I knew it. God is the only person who knew why. While you were here, I loved you with all my heart , and in death I will continue to love you still. There is a special place in my heart for you that no one else could ever fill. I love you my brother, Irma Love
