God Saw You Getting Tired
God saw you getting tired, and a cure not to be,
So he put his arms around you and whispered. “Come to Me”, With tearful eyes we watched you, And saw you pass away. And although we love you dearly,
We could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard-working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

Memories of You Grandma
It’s been the hardest thing to lose you
You meant so much to me
But you are in my heart Grandma
And that’s where you ‘ll always be I know that Heaven called you
But I wish you could have stayed
At lease the memories I have of you
They will never fade I did not want to lose you
But you did not go alone
Because a part of me went with you
When Heaven called you home
So just rememeber one thing We are not apart You’re with me in my memories And in my broken heart
From DeSean Broken Chain
We knew little that morning, That God would call your name. In life, we loved you dearly. In death, we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide. And though we cannot see you, You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.

Life’s Reflections
Today, we gather to celebrate the life of a beautiful, spirited woman, Edna Marie Campbell. Edna was born August 15, 1947, to the late Edmonia Howse and Jimmie Hopson in Somerville, TN. She was baptized at an early age and knew the Lord as her Savior.
Edna as a child: it was evident that Edna was a very canny, ambitious girl. In 1965, she graduated from Fayette Ware High School in Somerville, TN. She moved to Memphis, TN, and became employed with Lamplighter. Edna provided 25 years of dedicated service before her retirement.
Edna met and united in holy matrimony to the late Jimmie Campbell. To this union, their only child, LaShundra Campbell, was born. She was the apple of their eye and the joy of their life. Edna and Jimmie celebrated 32 years of marriage.
Edna was a phenomenal woman of faith. She lit many candles along her journey as she walked in the light of God’s love daily. Edna was a devoted wife, extraordinary mother, daughter, sister, friend, and woman! She loved her family and those in her circle dearly. She was a chosen vessel of the Lord. To know her was to love her as she was truly one of a kind. The life of Edna Marie Campbell will always be cherished and never forgotten.
Edna Campbell transitioned to eternal life on February 15, 2022. She was awarded her golden wings and certified a Good and Faithful Servant. She leaves to celebrate her ascension to Heaven: her loving daughter and caretaker, LasShundra Campbell; her siblings, Jimmie Hopson Jr., Evelyn Mitchell, Steven Howse, Doris Howse, Darrin Howse, and Gail Howse, Godsister Sadie Smith all of Memphis, TN; three grandchildren, D’Angelo Campbell, Sa’Niah Campbell, and DeSean Campbell; a greatgrandson, Tay’Shawn Campbell; a special son Maurice Ingram; seven bonus daughters, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
