The Last Test

April 14th God set me back to identify my own problems I had been dealing with; sometimes in life we care and have a good heart towards others we forget about ourselves.

That’s always been my downfall. Over 9 years I’ve been sick, but you can’t tell me prayer doesn’t work. The month of August for 3 years was always a bad month for me. Starting with 2001, I was diagnosed with Type I diabetes, with a blood sugar of 1300. 2003 diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, and 2008 dealt with depression, but God stepped in every occasion when death was facing me.

2 days before they released me from the hospital I cried, prayed, downloaded music on my phone, and talked to my friend, but with the weight of the world on my shoulders nothing seemed to help. So I cried out God help me in this time of trouble. I closed my eyes, tears still falling, but all of a sudden I heard God reply, when you will say yes.

Not just yes, but:

1. Yes to His will 1st

2. Yes to doing for me 1st 3. Yes to things that help me and not hurt me.

But saying yes could cost me everything but I’d rather forsake what I’m doing to do God’s will.

Sometimes the problems in life we face are not even that hard but we forget to ask, seek, and know with that in mind God brought to me (Matthew 7:7-12)

April 21st I asked God to put his hands of protection on me. April 22nd I was seeking closure from the doctors to my health but, I had to let gravity bring me back down that God has the last say so.

This was a hard say for me. They got me up at 6:30 am that morning for my MRI, but the machine was closing in on me. I got nauseated and started dealing with anxiety, so I wasn’t in the machine 20 minutes before they took me out and the procedure takes at least 45 minutes, so they said we’ll let you go back upstairs and we’ll finish the study later on because they were trying to determine if the mass on my ovary and liver were cancerous, but already from the blood work it wasn’t. This time they came back and got me about 6:30pm that evening. They had me in the machine for about 35 minutes and this time I was thinking the test was completed, when I was sliding out the machine, but the radiologist told me the machine malfunctioned.

I Was

Was Born...

I Lived...

Lived...

...and I Died,

to Live Again!
