God Saw You Getting Tired
God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So he put His arms around you
And whispered “Come to me.”
With tearful eyes we watched you
As you slowly slipped away
And though we loved you dearly
We couldn’t make you stay.
Your golden heart stopped beating
Your tired hands put to rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
Letter From Heaven
When tomorrow starts without me and I’m not here to see
If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me
I wish you wouldn’t cry the way you did today
While thinking of the many things we did not get to say
I know how much you love me so much as I love you
Each time that you think of me, I know you will miss me too
When tomorrow starts without me, do not think we’re apart
For every time you think of me
Remember I’m right here in your heart
When it seemed that our loss was too great to bear, we looked up and our friends were there with flowers and words written and spoken with smiling faces and hearts open, you comforted us and shared our grief. God bless and keep you granting all relief. Our gratitude cannot be adequately expressed with mere words, but they are the best that we have to offer in saying “Thank You” for lifting the cloud and letting the sunshine through.

Life’s Reflections
Cathlelean Futrell Veasey was born February 21, 1956, in Coldwater, Mississippi, to the late James and Robbie Lee Futrell.
She accepted Christ as her Lord and personal Savior at an early age at East Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Cathelean was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Eddie L. Veasey. Out of this union, no children were born.
Cat, as we called her, was an Alumi of George Washington Carver High School, Class of 1975. Cat was a loving and faithful wife until her beloved husband’s passing. She was the proud parent of two beautiful fur babies, Ginger and Rambo. Traveling was one of her greatest passions, along with sewing. She lived her life to the fullest up until her passing. She will be truly missed.
Eight brothers preceded her in death: James Robert (Elaine), Ollie B., Melvin (Mattie), Bemis (Bessie), Jimmy (Beatrice), Johnny (Karen), Marvin, and Eric (Michelle), one sister, Willie Eva (Willie Auther).
Her sweet memories are survived by one brother, Lee Andrew (Stella), two sisters, Mattie Green, Annette Harris (Clarence, Jr.), four sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
God’s Garden
God looked around His garden
And found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered “Peace be thine.”
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Psalms 23
