We little knew that day, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide.

And although we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again

-Your Loving Son, Randy

Dear Mom..

I still remember

The sound of your last breath I can still hear words that You said just before your death I can still feel your hands

Entangled warmly in mine I can still envision your smile Although I do remember The last promise I made to you

Stopping my flow of tears I haven’t been able to I miss you

-Your Daughter, Patrcia

For a Mother

Mother, you were just a girl, So many years ago.

You had your loves and had your dreams, You watched us come and go. You watched us make the same mistakes, That you had made before, But that just made you hold us tight, And love us all the more.

We haven’t always thought about The things that you have seen. To us you’ve just been ‘Mother’, No thought of who you’ve been. But we remember now in love, Your life from start to end, And we’re just glad we knew you, As Mother, and as Friend.

-Your Son, Casey

Thank You

You’re one of the special people Who always tries to give; Who makes this world a better place Just by the way you live.

You try to care for others You do the best you can If anyone is in need of help, You’re there to lend a hand.

You never ask for anything Or want something in return. You’re happy helping others, And you truly are concerned.

I can’t thank you enough. There’s no sufficient words to say To someone who always gives And harldly ever takes.

-From Shawn, Darwin, Kenderick, Bishop, Alexander and Morgan

I wasn’t really ready. I knew this day was coming. I just wasn’t ready. Thank you for all the talks. I thank you for always being there for me and my children. You always gave me your last even when you didn’t have it. No one can ever change the chemistry that we share. I love you Grandma. Rest in Peace.

-From your granddaughter Shawn.

CMemories

herished

I lived a long life, and I am grateful. God has blessed me to see my children and my grandchildren. I wasn’t a perfect person, but I did my best. It was in life I paid the price for the choices that I made. Whatever has happened in the past I let go, only cherishing the good times as I rest below. Thank God for life and His grace for laying me down to sleep peacefully. I give up the ghost knowing that I am in the safety of his arms.

-From your granddaughter Whitney.

“To A Loving Sister”

our worlds are different now

Or is that just how it seems

For I see you when I close my eyes

Because you’re always in my dreams

I know you’re up in Heaven

And looking down for me

And when I look up at the stars

I know that’s where you’ll be

Even though I miss you

You’re not too far away

Because my heart is full of memories

And I treasure them every day

Our time on Earth was special

But it’s only the very start So please keep watching over me

While we’re not so far apart

Someday the time will come

When I no longer feel this pain

That is the day when Heaven calls

And we will meet again

Sister, Fannie
