onita Eileen Beecher-Ball was born October 5, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee to Mr. L.C. and Mrs. Clyda Beecher. Bonita accepted Jesus Christ early as her Lord and Savior at New Zion Baptist Church. As an adult, Bonita joined Promised Land Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee, until she was called home to be with our Lord.

Bonita was a beautiful and confident spirit who believed in helping her fellow person. Bonita opened her heart as well as her home to many, which led her to become a caregiver. Bonita worked for Sevita as a Direct Support Professional, and she took pride in helping others. She was a true compassionate and empathetic person.

Bonita loved people; she always told jokes and laughed with her family and friends. She enjoyed life to the fullest. Bonita was mostly entertained by listening to Thaddeus Matthews and Blues music.

Her beauty was always shown inside and out by the love and support she showed her friends and family. Bonita’s outside vessel was always just right! She made sure her nails were stunning, and her hair was elegant and gorgeous, just like her perfect smile.

God quietly whispered Bonita’s name on Saturday, November 25, 2023, and she answered His call. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving companion, Derrick Partee; three sons, Clifford Jones Jr., QuinDarius Jones, and Quintin Jones; four grandchildren, QuinDarius Jones Jr., Dayton Jones, Daylen Jones, and Ken’leigh Marie Jones; one sister, Karla Beecher, two brothers, Rodney L. (Pamela) Beecher, and William E. Beecher which preceded her in death(Shedonica); three stepsisters; Dorothy (James) Liggins, Beverly Jones, Debra(George) Odum; and a host of cherished, special cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Auntie Bonita Bee

As aunt & niece we had an incredible bond. No one else could call me to poke fun at my “big head & big nose” that you often reminded me that I had daily. Oh, I am glad because it is those memories that keep me from being sad. On angels wings you were taken away, but in my heart, you will always stay! I will never forget how you always say, big head ***** I have not heard from you today, then you would sarcastically say “yes, I am okay (talking about yourself) & that you already know that I am okay lol. Well, not today, I am not okay, but I will keep your beautiful memories in my heart each day. You my auntie was my rider for the entire 44 years of my life, we were thickest thieves. I will not grieve too long because I will always hold onto all the laughs, calls, tears & memories... Your wings were ready, but my heart was not. So, it is not goodbye but goodnight! Rest well my dearest aunt/sister/best friend!

WORDS OF COMFORT We all go through and experience nothing that God has not already lived or know about. After all, he tells us that He is a living God. I’m certain that most of us have heard before and are familiar with God’s teaching from Ecclesiastes 3:1-10 reflected by Soloman to us that there is a season or time for everything.

As we continue to move through time in this present world that will not be altered or changed.

Losing a loved one to death is difficult for many and causes our emotions to swirl with sorrow and grief and the same emotions causes some to ask the questions why or what if, among others. This is natural among us. During this memorial for Ms. Bonita, you have already, and the days to come that God will give, and you are blessed to see, you will mourn and cry, you will laugh and smile, and you will cry some more as thoughts of Ms. Bonita permeates your hearts and minds. This is all good. Go ahead, mourn, and grieve, but only for a while. Do not allow this wonderful woman’s death, who loved my mother and the worked that she performed, even though she would complain about some of her employers, to consume or stop your living. She would not want that. The one thing that we fail to do at any time that we are in need is to reach out to others when we are in need.

Let’s get back to leaning on one other with reverential fear. Take time today and going forward to seek out someone that you may know or see and believe to be stronger than you and ask them for the help you need to get through period and this present world we live in. For the sake of good, encourage someone. Allow yourself to be encouraged.

You especially find those that are in a right relationship with God for they can surely and truly help you find the comfort that you need for they are of God. Take and make the time to love, be kind, patient, and to forgive one another. In all things seek good and seek God. You will find comfort beyond that in which man can offer you.
