“A Tribute to My Mother”

You are a gift; if it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t exist. You are gone... but in my mind, you are missed. So many memories of you... it seems as if you are still here. As long as I am walking and breathing, your name will remain near. It was your time to go, and those tears I couldn’t hold. I promise I will hold on and be strong, knowing that you are gone home. The fact is there is no more pain, no tears, and suffering because I know you are in a better place. Though life goes on, its hard to realize that you are gone. You know you will be missed by family and friends. But I know one day I will see you again. So right now, Rest In Peace until we meet again.

Love,

Your Daughter, Latasha

You’ll never be forgotten. That simply cannot be. As long as I am living, I’ll carry you with me. Safely tucked within my heart, your light will shine; A glowing ember never stilled throughout the end of time. No matter what the future brings or what may lie ahead, I know that you will walk with me along the path I tread. So rest my angel, be at peace and let your soul fly free. One day I’ll join your glorious flight for all eternity.
