AngelaElizabeth Thomas, also known as “Angie,” was born to the union of Spencer and Gertrude (Lovell)Thomas on August 8, 1984, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Angela was baptized and received the Holy Spirit at Breath of Life at an early age under the leadership of Minister Hall. She transitioned from this life on November 16, 2022.

Angela was the second of three beautiful siblings. Being second truly became a blessing for both her and her sisters, Erica and Adrionna. She became the glue for her siblings because of her infectious heart, memorable laugh, and remarkable discipline. This discipline manifested itself throughout her full life, her work, and her loving relationships with family and friends.

Angela attended Grandview Heights Elementary School. She later transferred to an ALL-OPTIONAL Program at Keystone Elementary, where she qualified and excelled in the CLUE Program. This quality of excellence and dedication to completing whatever she started would be at the forefront of all her achievements.

After Keystone Elementary, she attended Wooddale Middle School. She then went on to Wooddale High School, where her academic abilities qualified her for their College Prep Curriculum. While at Wooddale High School, Angela succeeded academically and was instrumental in the Arts Program. Her talents allowed her to write, produce, and perform in her own play. She enjoyed playing Tennis and Basketball.

Upon graduating high school with Honors, Angela had numerous offers and scholarships from several Universities. She decided to accept a “Full Ride” Scholarship at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, where she majored in Finance and completed Professional Licenses. While at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, Angela pledged and became one of the many sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

After graduating from UT-CHAT, she accepted a position as a Broker at E-TRADE Financial in Atlanta, GA. During this time, she fulfilled another achievement and received her Master of Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. From this position, she continued her dedication to her profession by moving to Dallas, Texas, and accepting a position at JP Morgan Chase.

Angela loved to travel. For her 30th birthday, she and her family traveled to the Dominican Republic. She also loved to cook. One of the many endearing dishes she loved to make was Banana Pudding. She would make it many times for the soccer moms of her “baby” Tyler’s soccer team. Angela also loved to spend special holidays with her family and friends. She was known for the personalized gifts she would always give. Everyone knew her as the life of the party, and if there was karaoke…..She Was There!!!

Angela was one of a kind. Her personality was large and warm. She was generous and kind. You could always expect laughter and a good time when in her

in the hearts and minds of all who knew her.

“To A Loving Daughter in Heaven”

Our time together was special So were the memories we made And although you live in Heaven now Those memories never fade

I bow my head in silence And remember my daughter with love And I know that you are up there Watching from above

Everyday you are missed And nothing feels the same And my heart calls for you Everything I hear your name You’ll always be remembered And time may heal my heart But a piece of me is missing Since the day we had to part
