AllanGerard Sanders (58) was born December 13th, 1960 and was the son of the late Bobbye Hughes and Joe Sanders.
Allan was accepted into Christ at an early age. In Memphis, he attended Coleman Ave Church of Christ.
Allan was a self employed real estate and investor whom loved the water, fishing, cars, sharing words of encouragement, jewelry, being photogenic, music (Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Kem, etc), singing, and most of all, being a business man.
When he dressed, he referred to it as “Sharp”, that was his word.
Allan attended Fairly High School with the graduating class of 1979. Following, he attended Tennessee State University where he met Tracie Michelle Nash, later married in 1995.
Allan will be greatly missed by his children Joshua Allan Sanders, Kameron Jade Sanders, and Alana Sanders, two brothers, Michael Sanders and Larry Sanders (who preceded him in death), two sisters Beverly Sanders-Taylor, and Sheliah Sanders, and all of Memphis, Detroit, and Arizona. He was a host of many remarkable aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and extended family.
Daddy I am going to miss you so much. I am so much like you. The way we eat, our habits, personalities, and I even got your entrepreneurial skills. You were my roll dog, best friend, and protector. As a little girl Iʼve always looked up to you. You inspired me so much and always will. I never thought this day would come so soon. You are the best daddy ever and I will always be daddyʼs little girl, your honey, and darling. I can hear your voice now saying “make daddy laugh”.... if only I could once more. I know that you are in a better place now and you are with God and grandma. To know that, I am at peace. I love you daddy! Love, Kam

For you to be the strongest man Iʼve met, I never knew something like this would happen. I appreciate the lessons you taught me to be strong, independent, and to always live by the code. You know what I mean pops! I love you man and I am going to miss you so much. I am at peace knowing that you are. I love the fact I have always had the opportunity to be honest with you.
