Our Vision
Youth Workers Summit gives youth workers the opportunity to learn from and be coached by carefully selected and reputable individuals who are pacesetters in various aspect of the ministry.
It is a gathering of Youth Workers from different parts of Nigeria, Africa, and the world, with the goals of enriching, equipping and connecting with one another in the area of their calling.

Youth Workers Summit is an annual event courtesy of the Local Church Ministries and Leadership Development Ministry of Word of Life Fellowship Nigeria.
Youth Workers Summit 2022 is scheduled for October 18th to 21st, at Jos, Plateau state Nigeria.
REFOCUS is power packed with content that focuses around the calling, the character , and the culture of youth ministry. It also seeks to create an atmosphere where youth workers can connect with each other and spark up a relationship that focuses around sharpening one another in the area of life and ministry.
The Big Room Topics for this year are as follows: character and the youth minister, the youth minister’s response to the LGBTQ+ propaganda, persevering and prospering in the calling of youth ministry, and dealing with burnout in the ministry.
Big Room Topics are the discussions planned for the general sessions in youth workers summit program. These are handled by selected individuals who have extraordinary practical and theoretical knowledge of the given topics.
This year’s Clinicals will focus around the following: Youth Ministry 101: (Idea is to spur Youth Workers to pattern working with young people with the mind set for the gospel, intentional and deliberate), Creating the awareness for the need of youth work in Nigeria and Africa in General.
One of our methods for ministry focuses on creating and sustaining relationships with youth workers. This is fueled by coaching and mentorship. Consequently, this method permeates every form of ministry that Word of Life engages in.
Engaging and understanding depression/substance abusers: Equipping the Youth worker. Support raising in youth ministry; Idea is to build up connections for sustenance and widen their ministry scope. Interpersonal relationships in ministry. Talks on sexuality
“Clinicals” are small room sessions that gives participants the opportunity to interact with facilitators. Participants also get to connect, brainstorm, and come up with original and contextual solutions to problems in their various fields of service.
