25-28:2024

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

(Matt.28:19-20)

ECWA USA DCC PRODUCTION

AN

WELCOME

On behalf of the ECWA USA District Church Council and the District Executive Officers, I welcome you to Louisville for our 2024 Conference. We appreciate the thoughts, prayers, and sacrifices we made to be here. We remain eternally thankful to our God, who brought us safely to the conference venue from all the distances traveled. God has demonstrated to us again that He is perfect in His timing and makes all things possible.

I welcome all ministry partners, friends of ECWA, and other guests, especially those attending our ECWA USA bi-annual conference for the first time. Your presence at our conference is not just a matter of attendance but a significant contribution to our shared mission. We are truly grateful for your decision to join us, and our prayer is that your experience will be so enriching that you will eagerly look forward to our future conferences.

Our journey to this conference began immediately after our last gathering in 2022. The tireless efforts of our National and Local Conference Planning Committees, as well as the dedication of those who accepted various roles, have been instrumental in making this event a reality. We are deeply grateful for your hard work and commitment.

ECWA’s 2024 Theme is taken from Habakkuk 2:3: “For the Vision is Yet for an Appointed Time.” As ECWA USA has the vision of being a Missional Church and are currently praying, strategizing, and equipping ourselves to be the Missional Church God wants us to be. As a follow-up to our Missional Vision, the Theme for the 2024 ECWA USA Conference

is EQUIPPING FOR GLOBAL IMPACT

We pray that through this conference, we will be better equipped to be God’s ambassadors of change in our homes, workplaces, playgrounds, and wherever we find ourselves. May we go back to live out our redemptive lives missionally before a lost world with a prayer that people will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

God bless you, and Welcome to our 2024 Conference! Enjoy it!

FROM THE CENTRAL PLANNING COMMITTEE

Dearly beloved, on behalf of the planning committee and various subcommittees I welcome every attendee to this conference including those who are watching the live stream. Every member of the committee has been prayerfully working hard to ensure that every program and every activity of this conference is seamlessly edifying and reviving. We sincerely anticipate your cooperation in registering for the conference and following basic instructions throughout.

PLEASE REMEMBER the mission is about going as much as it is about being the missionary yourself. Every member of Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) is being nurtured to be a missionary as the Church is marching on. Therefore, bear in mind that to be edified and revived depend on the various speakers and facilitators as much as it depends on every attendee of this conference (John 10: 27). Be an active participant as well as an active listener! Surrender to the leading of the Holy Spirit in you to be inspired and to act appropriately in love. Let us be “eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4: 3).

Timing is critical to the effectiveness and success of this conference. This requires that every attendee should go through the planned activities as we fellowship with one another. Do not pick and choose among them. Participate in every planned activity including prayer and praise worship time. You must have chosen or assigned to groups for the break-out sessions at registration. Take note and go to your various groups. We have enough in-between break times to socialize and refresh ourselves. Besides, we have enough time for a trip to Noah’s Ark and other free activities during this conference. et us enjoy this conference

He and his family have been serving God through SIM/ECWA in the Chicago area since 1995. Sunday is the pastor of ECWA Church, Chicago, and currently serves as the Chairman of ECWA USA DCC.

TOPIC: The Vision of ECWA USA: Our Place in Global Mission

The vision and mission of ECWA USA are to glorify God by being a missional church that equips its members to be disciples of Jesus Christ, transforming their communities. ECWA USA aims to act as God’s ambassadors, passionately winning souls from every nation, ethnicity, culture, and generation, and establishing churches in the USA and beyond. These churches will disciple believers to become disciple-makers, contributing to the global mission.

REVEREND DR. ZACHS GAIYA

Zachs, was born and raised in Kaduna State, Nigeria. He holds degrees from ECWA Theological Seminary Jos, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and Trinity International University. Over the past two decades, he has served in various Christian ministries.

He is married to Grace, and they have three children: Hesed, Haniel, and Hanamel. Zachs enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, listening to people’s stories, and watching soccer. He values witnessing people develop a healthy relationship with God and others.

Christian missions in the 21st century face both challenges and opportunities. Despite challenges, spreading the Gospel remains crucial. An examination of ECWA’s vision, mission, and strategic plan for 2024-2031, calls for an allignment with the Missional church strategy.
