Pony Bead Melts

2. Fill your pan with beads. (the suncatcher works better with transparent beads) Spread them evenly into one layer. They don't have to be hole side up.

3. Bake at 375 for approximately 20-25 minutes or until they have all melted together. Make sure to open a door or window cuz they are kinda smelly.

4. Remove from oven and let cool. Once cooled it should come out of the pan easily.

5. For the sun catcher attach a string and hang it in the light. (I drew some leaves on mine with a sharpie)

Here is a fun idea for your pony beads. Melt them into a place mat, sun catcher, or coaster.

This is what you'll need:

Pony beads

- You’ll find over 60 styles and colors in stock

Baking pan

Cooking spray

Oven

1. Choose the size baking pan you want to fill. I used a 9x13 for the placemat and a small cake pan for the coaster. Spray with cooking spray and wipe extras off with paper towel. This will help you get it out later.

Last year I discovered this great book on our shelves and it sums up my feelings this time of year. I am with Bruce, I get grumpy as the snow begins to melt, the days grow longer and the temperature rises. I realize this is my opinion, like most of mine, it is not widely shared by most people.
