While centrally located amidst Colorado’s many attractions, the city maintains its welcoming small-town feel. With easy access to Pike National Forest for rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking and more, Woodland Park elevates the mountain experience to an entirely new level.

Residents are a diverse group, which includes families, young singles, retirees, and active-duty military, as well as artists and musicians. It is home to excellent public and private schools, Charis Bible College, unique shops, restaurants, boutiques and outstanding business services.

Victor, the City of Mines, sits on the side of Battle Mountain at 9,800 feet, with streets once paved in gold now lined with history. Cripple Creek started life as an old West gold town, offering a hard life and slim chances to make it rich. Modern Cripple Creek still offers the dream to strike it rich. Casino gambling is the new “source” of gold. Happily, Cripple Creek casinos do not overwhelm the community as they have been integrated into the old west gold town look of Cripple Creek. Besides the casinos, families can enjoy re-enactments of old west gunfights, museums and mine tours, a number of theater groups and the ever present artist colony. Cripple Creek and Victor deserve exploration!
