The Vinewood Home is seated deep in a creative and sturdy history. Each stone once sat among Williamson County’s most robust farming fields as guard walls between hearth and dirt roads. These stones have stood the storms of time, figuratively and literally. The garage, once a simple storage shed, took a direct hit from a tornado yet still stood, according to the oral tradition passed down from owner to owner through time.

As the home evolved, so did its need for expansion and creativity. The walls would hold some of the most noted songwriting sessions across Music City throughout the decades. Even in modern music, Grammy and Dove winning albums and songs found inspiration within the stone fortress.

In the mid 2000s, an owner teamed with one of the most nationally noted historic architects, Lynn Taylor, to turn the small cottage into an impressive showplace and owner’s suite. The priority, however, was to keep the unassuming, humble front while creating a wow-factor interior; and, they nailed it! Custom beams were hewn to secure the addition for generations to come.

Now, The Vinewood Home is offered to the next owner to take solace in its security and find creativity within its walls.
