Imagination centre is a hybrid library which is a place of experience and inspiration, through the collection, exhibition, programs and research. The library allows free access to cultural exhibitions and visual arts, while promoting Malaysia artist and creative community groups. The facilities at Imagine centre library includes an art and design library, art gallery, exhibition space and a workshop. The purpose is to engage the visitors with educational as well as entertaining activities to ensure that these experiences would stimulate their thirst to learn and think imaginatively.

The exterior of the imagination centre is mainly using aluminium as the material. Using palmate shape as the window frames and signboard design which can stand out the design of the building through the exterior.
Imagination Centre is strategically bcated abng Persiaran Setia Alam. It is well bcated within the CBD of Setia Alam, whereby it is within close proximity to Tenby International School, SJK (C) Pin Hwa 2 and Setia Badminton Academy Commercial Developments. It also ocated nearby include TESCO Setia Alam, Setia Avenue and the upcoming Setia City Mall

Design concept of the space takes inspiration from project 1 which is the natural material The patellae and palmate shape are the main design elements as well as the extending fubrum of the design. The project express informed application of materials and technology in the design Therefore, the design include the use of the material researched whether in the space or the fittings design The use of the material is also inspired from the characteristic of the botus leaf which has water-proof and reflective surface.
This open area which is design for users to enjoy reading as well as enjoy the artworks around the area. The use of the material and the special-made-furniture gives the unique feeling of reading for the users
The exhibition space is located in the middle of ground fbor which is a place to foster design knowledge and inspire visitors by showcasing internationally acclaimed works of design with detailed descriptions of their concept and origin
This is an area for users to sit down and enjoy the displays through the hole.
The gallery is located around the workshop which is far more than just a destination for boking at those pictures, it is also a place to enjoy films and music.
A big book shelf is located in the middle of the first fibor and reading area is located around it. The book shelf was designed to convenient for the users to take the books from both side.
The materality becomes a strong part of the design concept The materols connect the producer. designer and consume and the final outcome shall be a collective effort as in a design process
To study a natural material Eg a bird’s nest. Explore and analyse the characteristic of material. Conduct experiments if necessary in order to fully understand its characteristics in depth.
I chose lotus leaf as the natural material to explore and analyse the characteristics of the material
To show the vein more obviously through the light. Waterdrop gathered in the middle of the lotus leaf showed the characteristic of water resistant.

The design intention of creative craft incubator is to solve the problem that craft is not highly appreciated in Oxford. Creative craft incubatuor provides opportunities for local crafters/ artists to have working spaces and a platform to sell their creativity and artworks to the public. Meanwhile, art lovers get a chance to get to know local artists and take part of some activities.
Oxford is a young city with 40,000 students from two universities, and with a third of the population aged under 30. The rest of the community might find it hard to fit in sometimes. Community craft incubator provides opportunities and activities for all age groups. Crafters not only run classes for kids to build their interest to art and crafts since young, but also for older aged group build interest or bond with friends during their free time.Handmade stuffs not only increase living index and life satisfaction of people, but also provide an opportunity to bring people together.

We also provide studio space to enable makers setting out on their careers, as well as those more established, to make the most of their talent. The crafters can sell their products in our craft shop and we will be taking 20% commission on the sales.
