Dear LCC Members, As the crisp air turns cold and the bright leaves fall to the ground, we begin to see many of our members take off to warmer climates. We’d like to wish those members safe travels and thank them for supporting the CLUB during the 2014 season. If you are not leaving Cincinnati for the season or haven’t left yet, we have some great things happening in November and December. In November, we’ll be featuring a Taste of Australia, Prime Rib Night, LCC’s Annual Caddy Banquet, Pasta Night and our delectable Thanksgiving Feast. Join us in December for A Taste of Winter, Hanukkah and LCC’s Inaugural Holiday Brunch and Toy Drive. During October, every table in the dining room was reserved for the Taste of Fall! The warmth of butternut squash soup, roasted turkey and pumpkin pies warmed our members like a fluffy down quilt. One bite of Chef’s savory pot pie and members around the room began reminiscing about their childhood. A few nights later, the culinary team wowed during Pasta Night when they delicately tossed penne at live action stations in the dining room. Members twirled fettuccine, drank vino and enjoyed a Sunday night dinner with family and friends. Families came out again for LCC’s Spooktacular Halloween Family Fun Night where the crisp night air was filled with the sound of children’s laughter from the S’more Station at the clubhouse to the Pumpkin Patch on the course. Members warmed themselves with hot cocoa, warm apple cider, hot toddies and snuggling on the horse-drawn hay ride. LCC members next traveled to The Taste of Germany which was such a hit that we ran out of seating in the dining room. If you weren’t able to attend the Taste of Germany, be sure to go down under with us in November for the Taste of Australia.
With the winter months upon us, the staff and I would like to thank you for your continued support of LCC. We enjoy seeing you on the course, on the courts and in the dining room. As the season comes to an end, please continue to keep LCC on your calendar when you and your family are making plans for the fall and winter. We look forward to celebrating all of the upcoming holidays with you and yours and would be delighted to handle all of the cooking, serving and cleaning to your specifications while you enjoy your guests. Contact your holiday elves at the CLUB and let us help you plan your family or business holiday party today. We’ll see you at the CLUB. Cheers, Jennifer.

It is now November and the Club Tournament season has come to an end, but there will still be plenty of great days to get out to sharpen your game at the practice facility and enjoy a round on the course. The 2014 Tournaments ended with a wet and cool Men’s Fall Classic. For such a tough day to play we had an excellent event with a great turnout, and some very good scores! November at the club indicates some changes for the golf operation and golf policies. The Golf Shop Hours of Operation are now 8:00am-6:00pm. The Bag Room will remain open until the last cart is in or the last golf bag to be stored has returned. The Dress Code and Score Posting policies are no longer in effect. You still must post scores if you are playing in an area of the country where posting is still in effect, such as the southeast, south, and southwest. The practice tee will be open this Fall on the synthetic turf only and will remain on the turf until the Spring. Please hit all shots from the turf, including drivers. The Golf Shop is stocked and ready for your gift giving needs for the Holidays. If you are planning to special order any items for the Holidays please have your orders in by December 9th to ensure on-time delivery. If the item needs to be logoed please allow an additional week for on-time delivery. All 2014 Golf Clubs and Golf Shoes are now On Sale!! Most all clubs are marked down 30-60% off the retail price! All shoes are 10% off of the member price. Your credit book earnings will expire on December 31st, so please be sure to check your balance to ensure you do not forfeit your winnings. If you need anything at all please do not hesitate to ask any of the Golf Shop personnel as we would be happy to assist you!

Jesse Clark Please allow me to introduce Jesse Clark. Most of you know Jesse from our summer cookouts on the lawn, so we photographed him with his sunglasses on so you would recognize him! Jesse joined LCC in March 2014 as the Broiler Cook and since then has been grilling steaks, flipping burgers, frying chicken and stacking Ruebens for our members. Prior to his current position, Jesse worked as a Pantry Cook at Cincinnati Country Club and the Evergreen Retirement Center. A native Cincinnatian, Jesse November 5, 1975. He has well as two sisters, Valencia Western Hills High School and Painter. Ironically, as soon as he went into the culinary field where he found his true
was born at UC Hospital on two brothers, Ron and Brian as and Nicole. Jesse attended went on to become a Certified he became certified in painting, and began training as a chef passion in the kitchen!
When not honing his culinary skills, Jesse spends time with his girlfriend of 17 years, Johnnie. Johnnie’s sister introduced them, and through a big smile, Jesse states that she is the one! Not to be forgotten is Jesse’s best friend, Dudey. Dudey is a brown and white pit bull who spends a lot of time snuggling and watching television with Jesse. When it comes to television, Jesse can be found watching sports such as football (Bengals), basketball (Cleveland) and baseball (Reds). When there are no sports to watch, he can be found engaged in a heated game of Playstation’s Call of Duty. Although he has spent most of his time in Cincinnati, Jesse has vacationed in Atlanta, Tennessee and Michigan. His favorite place of the three is Atlanta because his brother lives there. Very well-liked by LCC members and his co-workers, Jesse says that LCC has a real family environment and that everyone is so nice and friendly. Jesse looks forward to working at LCC for many years to come, and we are very fortunate to have him on our team!
