Dear Losantiville Country Club Members, The golf and tennis season are officially here. We had over 850 golfers on the course in the month of April despite the uncooperative weather. Our tennis courts have been very busy and we are very excited about the 2014 Tennis Program which you will read about in this newsletter edition. As the pool season approaches, the pool committee has been discussing new amenities and services to enhance the member experience at our beautiful pool. Going hand in hand with our busy sports activities, the dining areas have been bustling too! We served over 1100 a la carte lunches and dinners! Seder Dinner had a great turn out with over 125 members gathering at LCC. Easter Sunday was “hopping” with an egg hunt on the lawn, a grand buffet in the dining room and festive crafts for the children. Our handcrafted bunny cut-out display ended up being a fun photo station for members of all ages! Our first Date Night was so successful with parents and children alike that we will be featuring another Date Night on Saturday, May 31st. The craft beer flights and sliders that were served during “Hoppy Hour” were enjoyed by many members all of whom requested that we have this offering again. That being said, we will have Flight Night on Saturday, May 17th featuring craft beer flights with sliders or Saratoga chips and specialty wine flights with cheese and crackers. LCC’s Meet the Pro night was attended by over fifty members who were delighted to hear our Pro, Chad Gilligan, discuss our 2014 Golf Program. If you missed that event, be sure to join us for our Pro Shop Grand Opening / Meet the Pro event on Saturday, May 17th at the Pro Shop. Because we would love to have more members enjoy our activities, we ask that all existing members take advantage of our New Member Incentive. Learn how to get discounts on your dues this year and next by reading “Give the Gift of Membership” in this edition. Additionally, we will be having a “Passport Party”, cookout and live music from “Stuck in the ‘60s” on June 6 th. We ask that all members bring one prospective member to join in on the festivities and enter to win fabulous prizes! Details of this event will be forthcoming, but be sure to Save The Date! With the season kicking off and the club busy with activity, we have installed suggestion boxes at the host stand in the Main Dining Room, in the Men’s Locker Room and at the Pro Shop. Please use these boxes to relay your suggestions, comments, concerns and feedback. Of course, you are always welcome to stop by my office and chat. We look forward to receiving your comments so we may continually strive to meet the needs of our members. Golf News Chad Gilligan PGA Head Golf Professional The golf season is off to a fast start! We have had some very beautiful weekend weather and the golf course is in exceptional condition. Tournament Season is now upon us as the Tournament Club kicked off last weekend. Golf clinics have begun and the practice tee has been busy. We have some great events coming up this month, including the Men’s and Women’s Opening Day Scrambles and we hope that you’ll join us. The brochures for the golf instruction programs are available in the Golf Shop which provides all of the information that you’ll need to get your game into mid-season form. We are offering clinics for Juniors, Men, and Women of all ability levels. The brochure also provides information on individual private instruction rates as well as on course instruction. The Golf Shop is now fully stocked with a wide variety of items including apparel, equipment, and accessories. The LCC logo is being utilized on quite a bit of the apparel and accessories. We are available to assist you with the items that fit your needs, whether they are in stock or special ordered. We are also capable of accommodating your business needs. We can order apparel, uniforms, logo golf balls, and accessories for your business with your logo. Rental Sets are available in the Golf Shop for the 2014 season at a rate of $30, for members. The Adams Golf sets are fully equipped with Driver through putter and a bag and are a nice presentation for your guests when they are in need. We will be in touch regarding the upcoming Men’s and Women’s Invitationals in the very near future and hope that you’ll be able to make it out for these Showcase events at LCC!

Tony joined LCC in 1992 and has worked in our kitchen’s Garde Manager area ever since! No stranger to the kitchen, Tony was a cook at Dockside Six Seafood and Damon’s Ribs prior to joining your Club. Additionally, he spent time as a delivery man for the Natorp Nursery. A native of Cincinnati, Tony was born at the Jewish Hospital and attended Purcell High School. He has a 29 year old son named Antonio. When asked if Tony has traveled out of the area, he respond, “Yes, if Kentucky is considered traveling!” Tony enjoys softball. He cheers for his favorite teams – you guessed it -- the Bengals and the Reds! Tony enjoys working at LCC because he loves his job, likes his co-workers and is truly passionate about serving our members. Thanks, Tony, for all you do at LCC on a daily basis.
