Save our Soil exists to raise awareness of how the consumer demand for paper products as well as lumber and other products that are derived from trees are destroying the Earth. The mining of these trees leads toa reduction in minerals in the soil which makes the land not optimal for crop growth. The destruction of the trees destroys the fragile ecosystems that are supported in the trees, soil and surrounding communities. The impact on the loss of these ecosystems in devestating to nature as well as to the civilizations in that area. Save our Soil exists to educate consumers on the amount of natural resources that are being destroyed by us everyday. We seek to bring the forests to you so that you can see the people, animals and food that are being destroyed every second. Why are they being destroyed? To bring us paper, cardboard and other materials. But is this really necessary? We hope that by educating the consumer, that you can help us raise awareness on this issue. The Earth is not a non-renewable resource, we are killing it. By being thrifty with our resources as wel as recycling, we can greatly benefit our planet.

I chose to use greenerprinter.com for my information collateral because they had a paper that was made from 100% recycled material and processed chlorine free. They also offer vegetable and soy based inks. What really caught my attention over other printers was the audit that they offer. Once you choose you paper and quantity, they would show you how many pounds of wood, waste-water, carbon and paper by choosing their printing. This is a handy way to show potential clients their positive impact on the environment if they choose sustainable printing methods.

1. Paper is recycled from local schools and businesses 6. Seed paper biodegrades and leaves beautiful plants. This is the end of the seed papers life cycle 2. Recycled paper is taken back to the shop where it is shredded, soaked and implanted with seeds. It is then dried with circulating air.

5. After use, seed paper is planted and biodegrades within several weeks

3. Seeded paper is shipped to resellers or consumers

4. Seeded paper is bought and taken to its destination

Lifecycle Analysis for the Give-A-Way www.saveoursoil.org

I chose to use Botanical Paperworks for my give-a-way. I love how this company repurposes paper from local schools and businesses to make their completely biodegradable paper. I love the concept that this paper leaves something positive at the end of its lifecycle vs ending up in a landfill. I also love how the company uses non-GMO seeds in their paper.

Tradeshow Display www.saveoursoil.org

I chose to use EvoExhibits for my trade show display. They offer a great number of sustainable displays and printing options. They are very inforative and go into great detail as to how their displays are sustainable. I found that they provided the most information to their clients. Also, this company provides a discount on a new display if they recycle their old displays through EvoExhibits. www.evoexhibits.com
