Jin Jeans has proudly featured national recording artists, including Grammy award winner Nick Colionne, Grammy award-nominated trumpeter, Lin Rountree; pianist extraordinaire Brian Simpson, and Elan Trotman, master saxophonist. We recently showcased one of the most amazing violinists, Ms. Karen Briggs. All of these accomplished artists are bowled over by the incomparable talent of the New Orleans musicians who share the stage with them, including the likes of Michael Ward, Charles “Chuckie C” Elam, Yisrael Trio, Daryl Lavigne, Angela Bell, saxophonist and MC, Dave Badie; and the best house band in the country, “Speaker Box Experiment” led by Nick Mercadel. Jin Jeans Productions is committed to great quality jazz entertainment that showcases local talent and provides exposure for New Orleans musicians to national recording artists. The results have been phenomenal. Audiences are electrified; the events are engaging and interactive. Our organization is dedicated to strengthening the local music culture, preserving the heritage of some of New Orleans’ most celebrated and revered musical customs, in concert with hosting nationally acclaimed talent.
