We are thrilled to bring our “Smooth Jazz” Concert Series to The People’s Health Jazz Market, New Orleans’ newest entertainment venue. This unique jazz experience blends together a nationally renowned jazz artist with local New Orleans musicians for an exciting fusion of contemporary jazz, Big-Easy style. Jin Jeans has proudly featured national recording artists, including Grammy award winner Nick Colionne, Grammy award-nominated trumpeter, Lin Rountree; pianist extraordinaire Brian Simpson, and Elan Trotman, master saxophonist. We showcased one of the most amazing violinists, Ms. Karen Briggs and closed out with the late Legendary Prince saxophonist and electrifying Marcus Anderson. All of these accomplished artists are bowled over by the incomparable talent of the New Orleans musicians who share the stage with them, including the likes of Chuckie “C”, Michael Ward, Darrell Lavigne, Angela Bell, and the best house band in the country, “Speaker Box Experience led by Nick Mercadel and saxophonist and MC, Dave Badie. Jin Jeans Productions is dedicated to strengthening the local music culture, preserving the heritage of some of New Orleans’ and the region most celebrated and revered musical customs, in concert with hosting nationally acclaimed talent. We believe that by continuing to foster access between national and local jazz musicians, we promote local music artistry and introduce a unique entertainment for the entire region.
