Beach Village NOV. 26 - DEC. 24 Need to send a letter to Santa? Our special mailbox on the corner of Main Street and Ocean Way in the Beach Village offers express delivery to the North Pole. Have a last minute request? The mailbox will be accepting letters through Christmas Eve!

4-H Tidelands Nature Center NOV. 26 - JAN. 1 Visitors can pick up a Christmas animal-themed DIY ornament kit to complete at home and hang it on the tree. Free with youth admission.

Three Oaks Farm • Historic District NOV. 26 - JAN. 2 Enjoy a classic Christmas Carriage Tour of the beautiful Jekyll Island Historic District while listening to relaxing Christmas music. A perfect Christmas tradition for couples, families, friends, or groups!

Jingle Bell Beach Horseback Riding

Three Oaks Farm • Clam Creek Road NOV. 26 - JAN. 2 Ride into this holiday season with a one-hour horse ride on the beach! The horses will be decked out for Christmas in Santa hats and jingle bells, and ready for their photo-op. Come enjoy some holiday tunes while sharing a candy cane treat with them!

Shell Road NOV. 26 - JAN. 2 Beginning at Jekyll Island Mini Golf (Peppermint Land!) on Shell Rd., down to Mosaic, Jekyll Island Museum, visitors can travel from Beach Village into the Historic District counting down the most famous days of the season!

Santa’s Chairs

Beach Village & Historic District NOV. 26 - JAN. 2 These handcrafted chairs are on display at Mosaic, Jekyll Island Museum, in the Historic District, and on the Turtle Stage in Beach Village. Stop by either location, get comfy in the big guy’s chair, and snap a photo for your holiday card!


EVENTS & ACTIVITIES Peppermint Land presented by Home2 Suites & Seafarer Inn & Suites Jekyll Island Mini Golf NOV. 26 - JAN. 2 Celebrate the holiday season at Jekyll Island Mini Golf! A nod to the Island’s original amusement park, enjoy one or both of the 18 - hole courses while surrounded by life-size gumdrops, peppermint sticks, gingerbread men, and more. Play into the evening and enjoy a game under the lights!

Mosaic, Jekyll Island Museum NOV. 26 - JAN. 2 (SELECT NIGHTS) Take a ride on Jekyll’s jolliest trolley to see more than half a million lights around the island. The whole family can sit back, relax and view the lights from Beach Village to the Historic District. Trolley riders will enjoy festive holiday beverages, and music to sing along to!

Holiday Karaoke Night

Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT Every Thursday evening from 6-9 p.m., enjoy 1/2 off bottles of house wine + some festive tunes. Sing along to your favorite holiday songs while enjoying delicious southern cooking. Forge new memories over musical moments with great food + drinks at the Juke Joint.

Cold-Stunned Plunge, presented by Georgia Power & Beach Village Merchants

Beach Village NOV. 27 Take a cold-stunned plunge into the chilly Atlantic in support of sea turtles on the Georgia coast! This is the newest fun and a little frigid fundraising event for the Jekyll Island Authority’s Georgia Sea Turtle Center. During the winter months, sea turtles can get caught in hypothermic water temps. Take the plunge and raise some funds to support their rehabilitation and recovery!

Turtles at Twilight

Georgia Sea Turtle Center NOV. 27, DEC. 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22 & 29 Join Santa’s helpers at twilight for an intimate experience with the Center’s sea turtle patients. Enjoy a meet-and-greet with an educational animal, an up-close look at sea turtle artifacts. Hold on to your tinsel, because you might even see our vet staff at work!

Christmas Movies in the Courtyard

Seafarer Inn & Suites DEC. 2, DEC. 9, DEC. 16 Families are welcome to take in a Christmas Movie in the Courtyard of the Seafarer Inn & Suites. Refreshments will be provided, and movies are free for all ages and island guests. Movies will move inside to the Nor’Easter Room in the event of inclement weather.

EVENTS & ACTIVITIES Holiday Big Truck Roundup

Great Dunes Beach Park DEC. 4 Police and fire and rescue, oh my! Kids can sit in the driver’s seat and explore several emergency vehicles from Jekyll Island Fire/EMS and Georgia State Patrol. Kids can chat with emergency personnel and learn about these exciting vehicles. Plus, they’ll have the chance to meet Santa! (Sirens will be silenced.)

Holly Jolly Jekyll Light Parade, presented by Beach Village Merchants

Beachside DEC. 4 Watch as Santa and his many friends make their way around the island in a variety of vehicles lit up in their holiday best! View the parade from spectator viewing spots or sign-up to join in the fun! Participant prizes will be awarded in various categories by Santa’s helpers!

Grab a bite to eat at one of the Beach Village restaurants, and enjoy a light-up souvenir with purchase at one of the Village retail shops. Then, park your vehicle and tune in to our private radio channel to watch the original version of this movie classic on a big screen. Prior to the movie start, Santa will join his fire department friends for a ride around in his big red fire truck!

Annual Christmas Concert

Jekyll Island Convention Center DEC. 17 Experience the Island’s annual Christmas concert at the Jekyll Island Convention Center. Guests will hear holiday sounds from a variety of instrumentalists including piano, violin, guitar, and several vocalists. Free to the public.
